Abstract

The purpose of study is to investigate public and private sector employees’ "organizational voice and silence” perceptions in terms of demographic characteristics. The research was carried out with 434 public and private sector employees in Sivas. Data were collected through questionnaire method. Exploratory factor analysis, item-total scale correlations, t-test, ANOVA analysis and Cronbach's Alpha test was applied to evaluate data. "Organizational voice" and "organizational silence" scales have been developed as a result of the analysis. There were significant differences in employees' perceptions of organizational voice by gender and organizational silence by status. There were also significant differences in employees' perceptions of organizational voice and silence by position and sector.
