Okul Tükenmişliği ile Sosyal Medya ve Dijital Oyun Bağımlılığı Arasındaki İlişkilerin İncelenmesi

Öz

Dijital teknolojilerin kullanımı ergenler arasında giderek artmaktadır. Ancak bu teknolojiler ergenlerin günlük hayatını kolaylaştırmakla birlikte bağımlılık problemine de yol açabilmektedir. Bu çalışmada ergenlerin sosyal medya ve oyun bağımlılık düzeylerini belirlemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Bu çalışmanın diğer bir amacı da okul tükenmişliği ile sosyal medya ve dijital oyun bağımlılığı arasındaki ilişkileri ortaya çıkarmaktır. Araştırma ilişkisel tarama modeline göre tasarlanmıştır. Çalışmaya 561 ergen katılmıştır. Çalışmaya katılan öğrencilerin %49.7’si erkek ve %50.3’ü kızdır. Araştırmanın sonucunda okul tükenmişliği ile sosyal medya ve dijital oyun bağımlılığı arasında anlamlı ilişkilerin olduğu belirlenmiştir. Bu çalışmanın bulguları kızların erkeklerden daha çok sosyal medya bağımlılığı yaşadığını ortaya çıkarmıştır. Bulgular erkeklerin kızlardan daha çok dijital oyun bağımlılığı yaşadığını göstermiştir. Araştırmanın diğer bir sonucu okul tükenmişliğinin sosyal medya ve dijital oyun bağımlılığını pozitif ve anlamlı olarak yordamaktadır. Elde edilen bulgulara göre okul tükenmişliğinin azaltılması ergenlerin sosyal medya ve dijital oyun bağımlılığını azaltabilmektedir. Sonuçlar daha yüksek okul tükenmişlik düzeyine sahip ergenlerin sosyal medya ve dijital oyun oynama bağımlılığı yaşama olasılıklarının daha yüksek olduğunu göstermiştir. Bu nedenle ergenlerin sosyal medya ve dijital oyun oynama bağımlılık düzeylerinin azaltmak için okul tükenmişliğine yönelik müdahale stratejileri uygulanabilir.
