Chemical Composition of Taxus baccata L. Leaves and Male Cones Water:Methanol Extracts

Öz

The chemical composition of water:methanol extract of T. baccata L. leaf and male cone which is an endemic species to Iran were determined using GC-MS analysis. Twenty two components were identified with oleic acid (20.87%), octadeca-9,12-dien-1-ol (17.77%) as the most abundant components for leaves and seventeen components were identified with were 3-O-methyl-d-glucose (64.00%), oleic acid (13.32%) as the most abundant components for male cones.
