The Journal of Disadvantaged Groups and Social Work (DGSW) is an international peer-reviewed research journal that provides a platform for researchers conducting studies in the field of social work, particularly those focusing on disadvantaged groups.
The journal was published under the title Journal of International Social Work Research (JSWR) between 2020 and 2025, and as of 2026, it continues to be published under its new name with two issues per year (June and December).
The journal publishes in Turkish and English and is made available electronically as a periodical academic publication.

The article publication format of the journal has been updated.
There is no formatting obligation at the initial submission stage. Authors must submit their manuscripts as Word documents, written in Times New Roman, 12-point font, and formatted as plain text.
