Endemik Lomelosia pseudograminifolia (Hub.-Mor.) Greuter & Burdet’nın Antioksidan ve Antibakteriyel Aktivite Yönünden İncelenmesi

Öz
Öz: Bu çalışmada, Lomelosia pseudograminifolia (Hub.-Mor.) Greuter & Burdet (Caprifoliaceae)’dan elde edilen metanollü ekstrenin antioksidan ve antibakteriyel aktivitesinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Ekstredeki toplam fenolik ve flavonoid madde miktarları sırasıyla Folin-Ciocalteu ve alüminyum klorür kolorimetrik yöntemleri ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Metanollü ekstrenin antioksidan aktivitesi fosfomolibdenyum, 2,2-difenil-1-pikrilhidrazil radikal süpürücü (DPPH), ferrik-demir indirgeyici güç (FRAP) ve bakır iyon indirgeyici antioksidan kapasite (CUPRAC) yöntemi olmak üzere dört farklı yöntem kullanılarak test edilmiştir. Metanollü ekstrenin on üç bakteriye kaşı antibakteriyel aktivitesi agar difüzyon yöntemi kullanılarak araştırılmıştır. Sonuçlar metanollü ekstrenin yüksek fenolik ve flavonoid madde miktarı ile orta derecede antioksidan aktivite gösterirken test edilen bakterilere karşı antibakteriyel aktiviteye sahip olmadığını göstermiştir. Çalışma sonuçları, L. pseudograminifolia ekstresinin gıda, tıp ve eczacılık endüstrilerinde alternatif doğal antioksidan olarak kullanılabileceğini önermektedir.
