Objective: Since the first day, nutrition has been one of the most important elements in human life. Nutrition, human growth, development, healthy and productive lives for a long time and the body needs to improve the quality of life in sufficient amounts and use the nutrients in the body. Meat as a human food; high protein content, essential amino acid content, certain vitamin and mineral content is an important food item. However, consumption and/or excessive consumption of meat that has not been properly slaughtered, prepared, or stored can negatively affect human health. This review also discussed the importance of meat for an adequate, balanced and healthy diet.
