Rusya'nın Ukrayna'ya Yönelik Saldırganlığını Anlamak: İbn-i Haldun'un Düşünce Anlayışı Üzerinden Bir İnceleme

Öz

Amaç: Bu çalışma, Rusya’nın Ukrayna’ya yönelik uyguladığı saldırgan politikanın temel nedenlerini, İbn-i Haldun’un uluslararası ilişkilere ilişkin ortaya koyduğu kuramsal yaklaşım üzerinden incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır.
Yöntem: Çalışmada yorumlamacı yöntem kullanılmıştır.
Bulgular: İslam düşünce tarihinde önemli bir yere sahip olan İbn-i Haldun’un uluslararası ilişkilere yönelik anlayışı günümüze dair gelişmelere ışık tutar niteliktedir. Rusya’nın Ukrayna’ya yönelik izlediği saldırgan yaklaşım, Ukrayna’nın sadece egemenlik ve toprak bütünlüğüne zarar vermemiş aynı zamanda Ukrayna’yı bölgesel ve küresel güvenliği tehdit eder nitelikte bir savaşa sürüklemiştir.
Sonuç: İbn-i Haldun’un kuramsal yaklaşımı çerçevesinde değerlendirildiğinde Rusya’nın Ukrayna’ya yönelik yürüttüğü saldırgan dış politikanın güç siyaseti ile tarihsel ve kimliksel yaklaşımın bir ürünü olarak geliştiği iddia edilmektedir.

Understanding Russia's Aggression Against Ukraine: A Study Through Ibn Khaldun's Understanding of Thought

Öz

Aim: This study aims to inquire the main reasons for Russia's aggressive policy towards Ukraine in the light of Ibn Khaldun's theoretical approach to international relations.
Method: The hermeneutic approach was used in the study.
Results: Having an important place in the history of Islamic thought, Ibn Khaldun's understanding of international relations sheds light on current developments. Russia's aggressive approach towards Ukraine has not only damaged Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity but also dragged Ukraine into a war that threatens regional and global security.
Conclusion: When evaluated within the framework of Ibn Khaldun's theoretical approach, it is argued in the study that Russia's aggressive foreign policy towards Ukraine developed as a product of power politics and a historical and identity approach.
