Öz
The aim of the study, it is aimed to determine the effects of reflections from mathematics class on the success of students in using the creative drama method in teaching the subject of Subtraction in Natural Numbers and the opinions of the students after the lesson. In the research, 14 students of 4th grade of primary education were given creative drama-based mathematics and the learning environment was tried to be defined by observing the learning environment. Qualitative research approach was adopted in the research and the data were analyzed in accordance with the structure of descriptive-interpretative analysis. As a result of the study, it is concluded that creative drama method can enhanse and make the learning easier besides being a suitable method for mathematics lesson. Since the materials used in the course process made the course easier to learn the subject of subtraction, changed their perspective towards mathematics lesson positively. These results, suggested that drama method should be used more frequently in learning environments. There lated books must be written, and more seminars should be held for teachers.
