EFFECT OF DIGITAL COMPETENCE AND PSYCHOLOGICAL EMPOWERMENT ON JOB PERFORMANCE

Öz

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationships between digital competence, psychological empowerment and job performance. In this context, data was collected from 254 employees working in various sectors in Kocaeli using a survey method. As a result of the analysis, it was found that digital competence is positively related to psychological empowerment, but not to job performance. Also, it was found that there is a positive relationship between psychological empowerment and job performance. Finally, it was revealed that psychological empowerment has a full mediating role in the relationship between digital competence and job performance.

Öz

Bu çalışmanın amacı dijital yeterlilik, psikolojik güçlendirme ve iş performansı arasındaki ilişkileri araştırmaktır. Bu doğrultuda Kocaeli’nde çeşitli sektörlerde çalışan 254 kişiden anket yöntemi ile veri toplanmıştır. Yapılan analizler neticesinde dijital yeterliliğin psikolojik güçlendirme ile pozitif ilişkili olduğu, ancak iş performansıyla ilişkili olmadığı bulunmuştur. Bununla birlikte psikolojik güçlendirme ile iş performansı arasında pozitif bir ilişki olduğu belirlenmiştir. Son olarak, psikolojik güçlendirmenin dijital yeterlilik ve iş performansı arasındaki ilişkide tam ara değişken rolünün olduğu ortaya konmuştur.
