Web of Science Üzerinde İndekslenen Kadına Yönelik Şiddet Araştırmalarına Bibliyometrik Bir Bakış

Öz

Çalışma, kadına yönelik şiddetle ilgili bilimsel yayınları bibliyometrik bir bakış açısıyla inceleyerek konuyla ilgili mevcut durumu ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Ülkemizdeki ve dünyadaki Web of Science verilerini değerlendirerek birçok alanda ve konuda bibliyometrik analizler yapılmıştır. Ancak, kadına yönelik şiddet konusunda böyle bir çalışma yapılmadığı görülmektedir. Çalışma mevcut durumun analiz edilmesi doğrultusunda, betimsel tarama yöntemine göre oluşturulmuştur. Bu doğrultuda, 1975- 2020 yılları arasında WOS üzerinde yer alan “kadına yönelik şiddet” konulu 106 yayın bibliyometrik bir yöntemle değerlendirilmiştir. Değerlendirilen yayınlar; araştırmanın dili, çalışmanın türü, birlikte çalıştığı ülkeler, en çok yayın yapan kurum, en çok atıf yapılan yazarlar, atıfta bulunulan bilgi kaynaklarının türü ve biçimi incelenmiştir.

A Bibliometric Overview of Web of Science Research on Violence Against Women

Öz

This study examines scientific publications on violence against women from a bibliometric perspective. By evaluating national and global Web of Science (WOS) data, we analyze many current areas and subjects on this topic from a new angle . A study of this nature on violence against women has never been done before. The study uses the descriptive analyzing method to examine this global public health problem. Accordingly, 106 WOS publications between 1975 and 2020 on “violence against women” were evaluated with a bibliometric method. Specifically, this study investigated: 1 ) research language, 2) study type, 3) countries of origin, 4) broadcasting institutions, 5) frequently cited authors, and 6) type and format of cited information sources.
