Doç. Dr. Şenol ŞİRİN, OF/Trabzon doğumludur. Lisansını; Gazi Üniversitesi Talaşlı Üretim Öğretmenliğinde (2004-2008), Yüksek Lisansını; Karabük Üniversitesi Makine Eğitiminde (2008-2012), Doktorasını; Düzce Üniversitesi Makine Mühendisliğinde (2016-2020) tamamladı. Özel sektör kuruluşlarında; Tasarım/Üretim Uzmanlığı, Proses ve Takım Mühendisliği gibi çeşitli görevlerde bulunmuştur. 2013 yılında Düzce Üniversitesi'nde başladığı akademik kariyerinde, Müdür Yardımcılığı, Yönetim Kurulu Üyeliği, Disiplin Kurulu Üyeliği, Topluluk Akademik Danışmanlığı gibi görevler de yürütmüştür. Halen Gümüşova Meslek Yüksekokulu müdürlüğüne devam etmektedir. Güncel araştırma alanları; sürdürülebilir imalat, eklemeli imalat, nanoakışkan, triboloji, takım aşınması ve mekanizmaları, sürtünme katsayısı, minimum miktarda yağlama, kriyojenik işlem ve kriyojenik soğutmadır. Dr. ŞİRİN, Evli ve 2 çocuk babasıdır.
Born in Trabzon in 1982, Gültekin UZUN completed his undergraduate studies at Gazi University, Faculty of Technical Education in 2005, his master's degree at Karabük University, Institute of Science, Department of Mechanical Engineering Education in 2008, and his doctorate at Gazi University, Institute of Science, Department of Mechanical Engineering Education in 2013. He has worked at Gazi University as a Research Assistant since 2009, as a Research Assistant with a PhD since 2013, and as an Associate Professor with a PhD since 2020. Since 2025, he has been working as a Professor with a PhD in the Department of Manufacturing Engineering at Gazi University, Faculty of Technology.
Dr. Utku KALE. is an Associate Professor of Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering, with a specialization in Air Traffic Management, Flight Safety, Human Factors in Transportation, Energy, and Sustainability. He holds academic affiliations with the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (Hungary), the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (Netherlands), and Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (Lithuania).
He serves as an expert to the European Commission within the Mobility and Transport Unit in Brussels, Belgium.
Dr. Utku also holds several key professional positions, including:
- President of SARES Hungary (International Sustainable Aviation and Energy Research Society – Hungary)
- Language Editor for the International Journal of Aviation Science and Technology
- Former Associate Editor of the International Journal of Sustainable Aviation
He is the author of over 140 scientific publications and has actively participated in numerous international research projects funded by the European Union and NATO.
Dr. Utku served as the NATO Country Principal Organizer for an Advanced Study Institute (ASI) under the Science for Peace and Security (SPS) Programme, held in Budapest, Hungary. He has also been a Visiting Contributor in Stakeholder Relations, Technology & Research at the SESAR Joint Undertaking (Brussels, Belgium), and a Visiting Delegate to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Boston, USA.
I am Dr. Jonas Matijošius, a senior research scientist at the Institute of Mechanical Science at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VILNIUS TECH) and the Head of the Experimental Mechanics Research Laboratory. I received my PhD in Transport Engineering from VILNIUS TECH in 2012 and hold a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering obtained in 2005.
My research focuses on experimental mechanics, transport ecology, alternative fuels and energy sources, environmental protection systems, and the testing of vehicles and their components. In my work, I investigate the environmental impact of transport systems and explore innovative solutions for reducing emissions from internal combustion engines, including the use of biofuels, hydrogen-containing fuels, and renewable energy sources.
I have authored more than 200 scientific publications, including over 150 papers indexed in the Web of Science database, and my research has an h-index of 18. I am also a co-author of international scientific monographs published by Springer.
Throughout my academic career, I have actively participated in international research collaboration and mobility, visiting numerous universities and research institutions abroad. I have served as a principal investigator or researcher in several international and national research projects related to environmentally friendly transport technologies and emission reduction.
Dr Nadeem Oozeer is currently working as a Data Scientist at the South African Radio Astronomy Observatory, which is building the Square Kilometre Array Africa.
After joining as an Operations & Commissioning Scientist, he moved to Senior Commissioning Scientist and later moved to the Data Science Group. Dr Oozeer has been involved in data science since his post-graduate studies.
His field of interests includes Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Education and Public Outreach (EPO) in Africa, transformational Human Capacity Development, Innovation Management and Radio Astronomy.

Murat Aydın, Erciyes Üniversitesi'nde doçent olarak görev yapmaktadır. Aydın, akademik kariyerine 2007 yılında Erciyes Üniversitesi Makine Mühendisliği bölümünden mezun olarak başlamıştır. Yüksek lisans ve doktora derecelerini de aynı üniversitede tamamlamıştır. Doktora tezi, "Fonksiyonel kademelendirilmiş sandviç plakaların balistik davranışı" üzerinedir.
Aydın, 2009-2010 yılları arasında Erciyes Üniversitesi Sivil Havacılık Yüksekokulu'nda araştırma görevlisi olarak çalışmıştır. 2010-2014 yılları arasında aynı kurumda öğretim görevlisi olarak görev yapmış ve 2014 yılında Erciyes Üniversitesi Havacılık ve Uzay Bilimleri Fakültesi'ne doktor öğretim üyesi olarak atanmıştır. 2022 yılında doçent unvanını almıştır.
Aydın'ın araştırma alanları arasında kompozit malzemeler, balistik, darbe mekaniği ve fonksiyonel kademelendirilmiş malzemeler bulunmaktadır. Uluslararası hakemli dergilerde yayınlanmış çok sayıda makalesi ve bildirimi bulunmaktadır. Ayrıca, TÜBİTAK ve Avrupa Birliği tarafından desteklenen çeşitli projelerde görev almıştır.
Aydın, akademik çalışmalarının yanı sıra, Erciyes Üniversitesi Havacılık Çalışmaları Uygulama ve Araştırma Merkezi Müdürü ve Uçak Mühendisliği Bölüm Başkanı olarak idari görevler de üstlenmektedir.
Dr. Navneet Khanna is an Associate Professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Institute of Infrastructure Technology Research and Management, Ahmedabad, India. He is a specialist in building a strong pool of trained engineering graduates and is involved in solving Manufacturing related problems of Indian Industries and Government Organizations. He bagged the Early Career Research Award of SERB (Government of India) and successfully completed the project. He has successfully led 100+ projects defined by the Indian industries and published 100+ research papers in renowned (SCI/SCIE) peer-reviewed (Q1 & Q2) journals. In addition to this core competence, he has created several avenues of collaborative work with ISRO, DRDO, IPR, IITs, and renowned institutions round-the-globe. He has been invited by several renowned institutions worldwide to deliver invited talks and lectures. Dr. Khanna’s name figured among the top 2% of researchers and scientists of the world in a report published by Standard University, USA, and Elsevier of the Netherlands for the years of 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025. Dr. Khanna is listed among the World's Best Engineering and technology Scientists by Research.com. Dr. Khanna also featured among the top 0.05% of scholars worldwide in the speciality of Cryogenics and Tribology by ScholarGPS.
Dr. Khanna is a recipient of CLARIVATE India Research Excellence – Citation Awards 2025 in Engineering and Technology Category.
