Müzik Öğretmeni Yetiştiren Kurumlarda Türk Müziği Teorisi Öğretimi

Öz

Bu araştırmada müzik öğretmeni yetiştiren kurumlarda Türk Müziği teorisinin öğretilme şekli, kullanılan yöntemler, işlenen konular, konuların ve makamların sıralaması, öğretim sürecinde öğretmen adayları ve öğretim elemanları tarafından yaşanan problemler ve çözüm önerileri ortaya çıkarılmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu araştırma olgubilim (fenomenoloji) deseni ile tasarlanmıştır. Bu araştırmada katılımcılar, eğitim fakültelerinde görev yapan, TSMTU ve THMTU derslerinden birine giren akademisyenler arasından tercih edilmişlerdir (N=9). Bu araştırmanın verileri, araştırmanın çalışma grubu ile yapılan görüşmelerle elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler, içerik analizi tekniği ile çözümlenmiştir. Bu araştırmada öğretmen adaylarının makamı algılama, makamların perdelerini doğru şekilde seslendirme, usul vurarak eserleri seslendirme, transpoze yapma, makam analizi yapma, makam tespiti, seyir yapma konularında zorlandıkları ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu araştırmadan elde edilen veriler ışığında TSMTU ve THMTU derslerini alan öğrencilerin Türk Müziğini doğru kaynaklardan çokça dinlemeleri önerilmektedir. Derslerde işlenen Türk halk müziği ve Türk sanat müziği repertuarı, eğitim programı hedef davranışları ve eserlerin zorluk düzeyleri dikkate alınarak düzenlenebilir.

The Teaching of Turkish Music Theory in Music Teacher Training Institutions

Abstract

This research aimed to reveal the teaching ways and methods of Turkish Music theory used in music teacher training institutions, the topics covered, the sequence of subjects and maqams, the problems experienced by pre-service teachers and instructors during the teaching process, and suggestions for solutions. This study used phenomenological methodology as the research pattern. The participants of this study were selected among the instructors lecturing either the TCMTP or TFMTP course at faculties of education (N=9). The data of the research were obtained through interviews held with the study group. It was finded that pre-service teachers had difficulties in perceiving the maqam, performing the maqam scale with correct intonation, performing the pieces by counting unit time of rhythm, transposing, analyzing the maqam, and performing melodic movement. In the light of the data obtained from this research, students who receive TCMTP and TFMTP courses are advised to listen to a lot of Turkish Music pieces from the right sources. The repertoire of Turkish folk music and Turkish classical music taught in the class can be arranged by taking the target behaviors of the education program and the difficulty levels of the pieces into consideration.
