ÜNİVERSİTE ÖĞRENCİLERİNİN KİŞİLERARASI DUYARLILIKLARI İLE REDDEDİLME DUYARLILIKLARININ BAZI DEĞİŞKENLERE GÖRE İNCELENMESİ

Öz

Bu çalışmanın amacı diğer bireylerin davranış ve duygularına yersiz ve aşırı farkındalılık ve duyarlılıkları bağlamında üniversite öğrencilerinin kişilerarası duyarlılıkları ile reddedilme duyarlılıklarını cinsiyet, yaş, sosyoekonomik düzey ve sınıf düzeyleri açısından karşılaştırmaktır. Bu çalışma betimsel yöntem kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın amacına uygun olarak KTÜ Fatih Eğitim Fakültesinin çeşitli bölümlerinden farklı kategorilerde tesadüfi seçimle 340 kişi üzerinde 170 bayan; 170 erkek araştırma gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada Bilgi Toplama Formu, Kişilerarası Duyarlılık Ölçeği ve Reddedilme Duyarlılığı Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Veri analizleri için SPSS/WINDOWS programı kullanılmıştır. Gruplar arası farklılığı belirlemek için t testi ve "varyans analizi", değişkenler arasındaki ilişkileri belirlemek için "korelasyon"; grup farklılıklarının kaynağını belirlemek için karşılaştırma sonrası ranj testi Tukey HSD kullanılmıştır. Kişilerarası duyarlılığa ilişkin "kırılgan iç benlik" boyutu üzerinde cinsiyetler; "çekingenlik" boyutu üzerinde sosyo-ekonomik düzeyler; "onaylanma ihtiyacı" boyutu üzerinde yaşlar ve sınıf düzeyleri arasında; reddedilme duyarlılığı üzerinde ise cinsiyetler ve sosyo-ekonomik düzeyler arasında farklılığa rastlanmıştır. Araştırma sonuçları önceki bulgular ışığında kişilerarası ilişkilerde duyarlılık ve reddedilme kapsamında başka araştırma ve uygulamalara da yol gösterecek bağlamda tartışılmıştır.

THE ANALYSIS OF UNIVERSITY STUDENT’S INTERPERSONAL SENSITIVENESS AND REJECTION SENSITIVENESS

Öz

The aim of this study is to compare the relationships between university students' interpersonal sensitivities -that defined as undue and excessive awareness of and sensitivity to the behavior and feelings of others- and rejection sensitivities. Gender, age, SES and grades differencess were also searched in this context. For this purpose 340 170 females; 170 males students are randomly recruited from KTU Fatih Faculty of Education's various departments. Main instruments are Information Gathering Form, Interpersonal Sensitivity Measure and Rejection Sensitivity Measure. For data analyses were used SPSS for WINDOWS. The group differencess were tested by t-test and F statistics with Tukey HSD post comparison range test. Correlational statistics was also employed to search for relationships among all variables. The findings showed that the gender differencess exist on fragile inner self; SES differencess on timidity; age and grades differencess on need for approval of interpersonal sensitivity. There are also genders and SES differencess on rejection sensitivity. The results are discussed in the light of previous findings and in the context of interpersonal sensitivity and rejection, conducting future research for implications as well
