The aim of this research is to develop the
secondary and high school forms of the cyberbullying threat level scale for
students who are cyberbullying victims, bullies or witnesses. Data were
collected from 304 middle school and 296 high school students. Content validity
and linguistic validity were established by expert review and; construct
validity was established by exploratory factor analysis. Cronbach Alpha
analysis was performed to test the internal consistency reliability coefficient
of the scales; Item-total correlations were calculated to test item
reliability. Each of the scales with three basic dimensions (victimization,
bullying and witnessing); three sub-dimensions (frequency of experiencing the
problem, level of perceived seriousness, level of negative effect felt) and 17
items found to be valid and reliable by the first psychometric findings.
