7. Sınıf Öğrencilerinin Bilimsellik Değerine İlişkin Zihinsel Modellerindeki Değişim
Öz
Bu çalışmanın amacı ortaokul öğrencilerinin bilimsellik değerine ilişkin
zihinsel modellerindeki değişimi belirlemektir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu
Kastamonu il merkezindeki üç ortaokulda 7.sınıfta öğrenim gören 311 öğrenci
oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada yöntem olarak zayıf deneysel desenlerden tek grup ön
test-son test desen modeli kullanılmıştır. Veri toplama aracında öğrencilerden
metafor oluşturmaları ve çizim yapmaları istenmiştir. Elde edilen veriler
ışığında öğrencilerin zihinsel modelleri ve bu modellerdeki değişim tespit
edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak; öğrencilerin bilimsellik değerine ilişkin metafor,
çizim ve zihinsel model oranlarında artış yaşandığı gözlenmiştir. Ulaşılan sonuçlar doğrultusunda çeşitli öneriler
geliştirilmiştir.

The Change In The Mental Models Of The 7th Grade Students In Terms Of Scientific Value

The aim of this
study was to determine the changes in the mental models of the scientific value
of secondary school students. The study group
consists of 311 7th grade students in three secondary schools in the province
of central Kastamonu. In this study pre-experimental design with one group
pre-test and post-test was used. The
students’ metaphor and a drawing were demanded with the data collection form.
Based on obtained study findings, students’ mental models and changing of
mental models have been
identified.
Consequently, it was observed that there were an increase in the
rate of metaphors, drawings and mental models about the students’ scientific
value. Based on obtained results, several recommendations have been made.
