Eğitimde Teknoloji Entegrasyonuna Yönelik Bir Model: ZFCL Öğrenme Alanı

To equip students with the ability to effectively use digital technology in the educational process, they need to implement alternative approaches that differ from the traditional approaches they have used previously. These approaches are expected to transform students from passive recipients of information into individuals who can create information, prepare digital content, and use this content effectively. The learning spaces prepared enable students to actively participate in the processes of researching, producing, developing, and presenting information; they support interaction and collaboration, contributing to the development of digital competencies. In this context, countries are adapting their education systems to these developments in order to keep pace with the times. FCL, which stands out for its focus on designing the classroom of the future and preparing students for the 21st century, can be considered a classroom design where education is seen as a tool that enable individuals to self-actualize and communicate effectively. Coordinated by 15 countries within the European School Network, FCL is a network structured in line with the aims of facilitating fundamental changes in education and equipping teachers and students with the skills needed for the 21st century. It is believed that the proliferation of research on these innovative learning environments will contribute to the integration of technology into education. In this study, the Zile Science High School FCL (ZFCL) classroom was examined as an example of an FCL. The ZFCL learning environment offers a holistic and sustainable model for the integration of technology in education, providing an important framework for student-centered learning, active participation, and the development of digital competencies.

Dijital teknolojiyi eğitim öğretim sürecinde etkili kullanabilme becerisini kazandırmak için öğrencilerin daha önce kullandıkları geleneksel yaklaşımlardan farklı olan alternatif yaklaşımları uygulamaları gerekmektedir. Bu yaklaşımların öğrencileri bilginin edilgen alıcısı olmaktan çıkarıp onları bilgiyi oluşturabilen, dijital içerik hazırlayabilen ve bu içeriği etkili bir şekilde kullanabilen bireylere dönüştürmesi beklenmektedir. Hazırlanan öğrenme alanları, öğrencilerin bilgiyi araştırma, üretme, geliştirme ve sunma süreçlerine aktif olarak katılmalarını sağlar; etkileşim ve iş birliğini destekleyerek dijital yeterliliklerin gelişimine katkı sunar. Bu kapsamda, ülkeler çağa ayak uydurabilmek için eğitim sistemlerini bu gelişmeleri dikkate alarak düzenlemektedir. Geleceğin sınıfını tasarlama ve öğrencileri 21. yüzyıla hazırlama yönleriyle öne çıkan FCL, eğitimin bireylerin kendini gerçekleştirme ve etkili iletişim kurmasına olanak sağlayan bir araç olarak kabul edildiği bir sınıf tasarımı olarak değerlendirilebilir. Avrupa Okul Ağı’nda 15 ülke tarafından koordine edilen FCL, eğitim alanında köklü değişimlerin yaşanması ve 21. yüzyıl becerilerinin ihtiyaç duyan öğretmen ve öğrencilere kazandırılmasına ilişkin amaçlar doğrultusunda yapılandırılan bir ağdır. Bu yenilikçi öğrenme ortamları ile ilgili araştırmaların yaygınlaşmasının teknolojinin eğitime entegrasyonu konusuna katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir. Bu çalışmada bir FCL örneği olarak Zile Fen Lisesi FCL (ZFCL) sınıfı ele alınmıştır. ZFCL öğrenme alanı eğitimde teknoloji entegrasyonuna yönelik bütüncül ve sürdürülebilir bir model sunarak öğrenci merkezli öğrenme, aktif katılım ve dijital yeterliliklerin geliştirilmesi açısından önemli bir çerçeve ortaya koymaktadır.
