İlkokul Öğrencilerine Yönelik Kariyer Bilinci Ölçeği: Geçerlilik ve Güvenilirlik Çalışması

Öz

Bu çalışmada ilkokul öğrencilerine yönelik kariyer bilinci ölçeğinin geliştirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu İstanbul’da öğrenim göre ve kolay ulaşılabilir örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlenen 310 ilkokul öğrencisidir. İlkokul öğrencilerine yönelik kariyer bilinci ölçeğinin faktör yapısını belirlemek için açımlayıcı ve doğrulayıcı faktör analizi yapılmıştır. AFA sonucunda elde edilen verilere göre ölçeğin üç faktörlü bir yapıda olduğu belirlenmiştir. Elde edilen faktörler kariyer bilinci ölçeğinin toplam varyansının 55.190’nını açıklamaktadır. Faktörler “meslekleri tanıma, kendini tanıma ve karar verme” olarak isimlendirilmiştir. DFA sonuçlarına göre ölçeğin uyum indeksleri (χ2/sd=, 1.33, RMSEA=0.05, SRMR=0.06) kabul edilebilir aralıktadır. Ayrıca kariyer bilinci ölçeğinin madde korelasyon değerlerinin .35 ile .46 olduğu saptanmıştır. Cronbach Alfa iç tutarlılık katsayısının alt faktörlere göre 70-.72 arasında değiştiği belirlenmiştir. Bu bulgulardan hareketle ölçeğin ilkokul öğrencilerinin kariyer bilinçlerinin ölçülmesinde kullanılabileceği söylenebilir.

Career Awareness Scale for Primary School Students: Validity and Reliability Study

Öz

This study aimed to develop a career awareness scale for primary school students. The convenience sampling method determined the study group of 310 primary school students studying in Istanbul. Exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses were conducted to determine the factor structure of the career awareness scale for primary school students. According to the data obtained as a result of EFA, it was determined that the scale had a three-factor structure. The obtained factors explained 55.190% of the total variance of the career awareness scale. The factors were named "knowing professions, knowing oneself and making decisions." According to the CFA results, the scale's fit indices and item correlation values were within acceptable ranges. In addition, the distributions of the scale's Cronbach Alpha internal consistency coefficient according to the sub-factors were also within the desired ranges. Based on these findings, it can be said that the scale can be used to measure the career awareness of primary school students.
