The aim of this study is to systematically examine the studies on self-compassion in Turkey between 2007 and 2023. In this review, bibliometric analysis, one of the quantitative research method types, was used. The research population consists of a total of 168 studies (research articles and reviews) obtained as a result of the search in databases such as DergiPark, TR Index and SOBİAD. In the study, purposive sampling method was used and MAXQDA 2020 program was used to analyze the data. The concept of self-compassion in the articles was divided into 8 main themes (year of publication, type of article, language used, data collection tools, analysis programs used, research methods, related variables, sample population) and sub-coding was performed. When some analysis results are evaluated, it is seen that research articles on the concept of self-compassion was at a higher level in 2022. It was determined that the sample of students was more preferred in articles using quantitative research methods and techniques. It was determined that the concept in question was most intensely associated with the concepts of psychological resilience, depression, and forgiveness. As a result, it is seen that the concept of self-compassion occupies an important place in the literature and related research has started to increase over the years.
