Öz

It is seen that the concept of closeness in relationships is mostly discussed in the sense of romantic and intimate relationships in the literature. This study was conducted with the aim of developing a scale that considers close relationships as a whole and to measure this concept. In this context, the RelationalCloseness Scale’s validity and reliability studies were conducted. The Relational Closeness Scale has a three-dimensional (Partner, Family and Friend) structure and consists of 14 items. While the Cronbach's alpha coefficient for the whole scale was determined as .86, it was determined as .88 for the partner sub-dimension, .79 for the family sub-dimension, and .73 for the friend sub-dimension. The Relational Closeness Scale is a valid and reliable scale that can be applied to individuals over the age of 18 who are married or have a dating relationship.

İlişkilerde Yakınlık Ölçeği: Geçerlik ve Güvenirlik Çalışması

Öz

İlişkilerde yakınlık kavramı alan yazında daha çok romantik ve mahrem ilişkiler anlamında ele alındığı görülmektedir. Bu çalışma yakın ilişkileri bir bütün olarak ele alan bir ölçek geliştirme amacıyla yapılmıştır. Bu kapsamda araştırmacı tarafından İlişkilerde Yakınlık Ölçeği geliştirilmiş ve geçerlilik ve güvenirlik çalışmaları yapılmıştır. İlişkilerde Yakınlık Ölçeği üç boyutlu (Partner, Aile ve Arkadaş) bir yapıda olup toplam 14 maddeden oluşmaktadır. Ölçeğin tamamına ait Cronbach alfa iç tutarlılık katsayısının .86; partner alt boyutunun .88, aile alt boyutunun .79 ve arkadaş alt boyutunun .73 olduğu tespit edilmiştir. İlişkilerde Yakınlık Ölçeğinin 18 yaş üstü evli veya romantik ilişkisi olan bireylerde uygulanabilecek geçerli ve güvenilir sonuçlar veren bir ölçek olduğu belirlenmiştir.
