Öz

The aim of this study is to examine the effect of a dynamic mathematics software on preservice teachers’ opinions about the use of interactive whiteboard technology in their classrooms. The research was designed as a case study, with emphasis on qualitative research methods. The research was conducted with 14 pre-service mathematics teachers. Each pre-service teacher was able to perform applications on the interactive whiteboard using the dynamic mathematics software. Based on the data analysis, the pre-service teachers found that the interactive whiteboards could be used during math lessons for solving problems and displaying geometrical shapes. At the same time, it was found that, with the integration of dynamic mathematics software and interactive whiteboard, understanding of the concepts and the display of graphics was easier, while facilitating concretization and retention

Dinamik Bir Matematik Yazılımının Öğretmen Adaylarının Etkileşimli Tahta ile İlgili Görüşlerine Etkisi

Öz

Bu araştırmada, dinamik matematik yazılımı ve etkileşimli tahtanın sınıf ortamında entegrasyonu sağlanarak, bu entegrasyonun öğretmen adaylarının etkileşimli tahta teknolojisi ile ilgili görüşlerine etkisinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan durum çalışması kullanılarak gerçekleştirilen araştırmada, araştırmaya katılan 14 matematik öğretmeni adayının her birinin dinamik matematik yazılımı kullanarak etkileşimli tahta üzerinde uygulamalar yapması sağlanmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri, araştırmaya katılan bu öğretmen adaylarına çalışmanın başında ve sonunda farklı görüş formlarının uygulanması sonucunda elde edilmiştir. Verilerin analizi sonucunda; öğretmen adaylarının ön görüşlerinin, etkileşimli tahtaların matematikte soru çözümü ve geometrik şekillerin gösteriminde kullanılabileceği şeklinde, son görüşlerinin ise dinamik matematik yazılımı ve etkileşimli tahtanın entegrasyonu ile kavramların anlaşılmasının ve grafiklerin gösteriminin kolaylaşacağı, somutlaştırma ve akılda kalıcılığı sağlayacağı şeklinde olduğu belirlenmiştir.
