2023 VİZYON BELGESİ’NİN KARAKTER EĞİTİMİ BAKIMINDAN DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

Öz

Çalışma, 23 Ekim 2018 tarihinde Cumhurbaşkanı Sayın Recep Tayyip Erdoğan ve Millî Eğitim Bakanı
Sayın Prof. Dr. Ziya Selçuk ön- derliğinde, Beştepe Millet Kongre ve Kültür Merkezi’nde düzenlenen
2023 Eğitim Vizyonu Tanıtım Toplantısında açıklanmış olan Vizyon Belgesi’nin karakter eğitimi
açısından değerlendirilmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Bu belgede 2023 yılına kadar, 3 yıl içerisinde
yapılması planla- nan eğitime ilişkin revizyon ve köklü değişim çalışmaları anlatılmış ve yapılacak
çalışmalar bir takvim eşliğinde sunulmuştur. Yapılan bu araştırma nitel araştırma olup Vizyon
Belgesi’nde yer alan veriler dokuman incelemesi ile ele alınmıştır. Araştırmada Vizyon Belgesi’nde
karakter kelimesinin mizaç olarak “on beş kez” geçtiği, karakter içerisinde önemli bir yeri olan
değer ve değer kazandırmanın “on yedi kez” geçtiği tespit edilmiştir. Çalışmada karakter eğitimi
konusu “Tehlikeli ve yasa dışı davranışlarla mücadele ve Millî ve manevi değerlerin
kazandırılması” olarak iki kategori altında incelenmiştir.
