Denizli Devlet Hastanesi’nde çalışan hekim dışı sağlık personelinde tükenmişlik düzeyi ve ilişkili faktörler

Öz

AMAÇ: Araştırmanın amacı, Denizli Devlet Hastanesi'nde çalışan hekim dışı sağlık personelinin tükenmişlik düzeylerini saptamak ve ilişkili faktörleri belirlemektir.YÖNTEMLER: Kesitsel tipteki bu çalışmada Denizli Devlet Hastanesi’nde çalışan 594 sağlık personelinin401’ine (%67,5) ulaşılabilmiştir. Veriler, Maslach Tükenmişlik Ölçeği, İsveç İş yükü Kontrol-Destek Ölçeğini içeren ve personelin kişisel, ailevi ve mesleki özelliklerini sorgulayan bir soru formu kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Veri analizinde Student t testi, One-way ANOVA testi, Mann-WhitneyU testi, Kruskall-Wallis testi ve Lineer Regresyon analizi uygulanmıştır.BULGULAR: Çalışma grubunun duygusal tükenme puan ortalaması 15,0±6,1, duyarsızlaşma puan ortalaması 4,2±3,0, kişisel başarı hissi puan ortalaması 22,1±4,3 olarak bulunmuştur. Personelin tükenmişlik alt boyutları ile yaş, meslek, meslekte çalışma süresi, çocuk varlığı ve eşin çalışma durumu arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı ilişki bulunmuştur. Bu değişkenlerden oluşturulan bir modelin regresyon analizi sonucuna göre yaş arttıkçaduygusal tükenme ve duyarsızlaşma azalmakta, kişisel başarı hissi artmaktadır. İş stresi arttıkça duyarsızlaşma artmakta, kişisel başarı hissi azalmaktadır.SONUÇ: Çalışmaya katılan hekim dışı sağlık personelinin tükenmişlik düzeyleri, daha önce benzer konuda yapılmış çalışma sonuçlarına göre daha düşüktür. Bununla birlikte tükenmeyle ilişkili olduğunu bulduğumuz önlenebilir nitelikteki iş stresine ilişkin düzenlemelere gereksinim bulunmaktadır.

Burnout levels and associated variables at the health staff except the physicians of Denizli State Hospital

Öz

OBJECTIVE: The aim of this study is to determine burnout levels of health workers except the physicians, working in Denizli State Hospital and factors relationship with burnout.METHODS: This cross sectional research was collected 401 (%67.5) of 594 health workers inDenizli State Hospital. The data was complied with using a questionnaire including Maslach Burnout Inventory and Sweden Work Control Inventory and questions about some personal, familial and occupational features. Student t test, One way- ANOVA test, Mann-Whitney U test, Kruskall-Wallis test and Linear Regression test were used in this research.RESULTS: The mean value of Maslach Burnout Inventory subscores including emotional exhaustion,depersonalization and low personal accomplishment were assessed as 15.0±6.1; 4.2±3.0; 22.1±4.3, respectively. There were signifi cant associations between the level of burnout of the health workers in Denizli State Hospital, and age, occupation, the number of years spent in job, having children situation, partner’s work situation. Inthe regression analyzing model was composed those variables shows while the age has increased, emotional exhaustion and depersonalization have been decreased, personal accomplishment has been increased. While the job stress has increased, depersonalization have been decreased, personal accomplishment has been increased.CONCLUSION: The burnout levels of the health workers except the physicians are less than some other previous research. However the arrangements are necessary about the preventable job stress factors causing burnout determined in this study.
