ADLANDIRILAMAYANIN SINIRINDA ETİK EYLEMİN OLANAĞI: LACAN VE KIERKEGAARD’DA KAYGI

Öz

Lacan, kaygının paradoksal nesnesi yoluyla Simgesel’in sınırlarına gidip gelen, Simgesel’in dayatmalarına karşı kendi saf arzusunu savunan ve eyleminin ilkesini saf arzu olarak belirlemek suretiyle etik olanağa kavuşan özneyi savunur. Kaygıyı öznenin bir olanağı olarak ele alan Kierkegaard’da ise bu olanak, iman kavramı üzerinden geleneksel etiğin askıya alındığı etik-dışı oluş biçimi olarak yorumlanmıştır. Bu çalışmada, kaynağını kaygıdan alan bu etik-dışı oluşun Lacanyen arzu etiğiyle yakınlık gösterdiği iddia edilecektir. Lacan’a göre kaygı, bir yandan özneyi Gerçek’in içinde kaybolmaktan kurtarırken diğer yandan Simgesel düzenin aksadığı arzu alanlarını özneye göstererek ona yeni davranış olanakları açmaktadır. Arzu etiği, eyleminin amacını saf arzuda bulan etiktir; kişi, ne olursa olsun arzusunu üstlenmelidir. Buna göre Kierkegaard’da arzunun kaygı yoluyla koşulsuz olarak üstleniminin geleneksel etiğin askıya alınmasıyla sonuçlandığı söylenebilir. Bu tartışmadan elde edeceğimiz başlıca özgün çıkarım ise Lacan’ın Kierkegaard’un geleneksel etiğin dışında konumlandırdığı iman kavramını psikanalizin etiği çerçevesinde seküler hale getirerek arzu etiğini ileri sürdüğünü söylemek olacaktır.

POSSIBILITY OF AN ETHICAL ACTION AT THE EDGE OF THE UNNAMABLE: ANXIETY IN LACAN AND KIERKEGAARD

Öz

Lacan presents the subject who walks around the borders of the Symbolic through the paradoxical object of anxiety, rejects his absorption by the Symbolic codes by his/her dynamic touch with desire, and feels ethically empowered, with his/her motivation by pure desire in his/her actions. Kierkegaard who takes anxiety as a vital force for the subject reconfigures, this force with regard to the notion of faith as an unethical form of being which involves the suspension of the traditional ethics. This study argues that this unethical construction which is traced to anxiety intersects with the Lacanian ethics of desire. For Lacan, anxiety both saves the subject from plunging into the Real and presents him/her with new possibilities of behavior as a desiring subject, confronting him/her with fissures in the Symbolic. Ethics of desire regards the pure desire as the motivating force behind action; the subject, in all conditions, should have a dynamic link with his/her desire. In this context, it could be argued that the Kierkegaardian notion of desire which is believed to be unquestionably attained through anxiety results in the suspension of the traditional ethics. The main argument of this study is that secularizing the notion of faith that is set apart from the realm of the traditional ethics in a Kierkegaardian context, Lacan presents an alternative ethics of desire shaped by the ethics of psychoanalysis.
