The concept of abuse describes relationships that develop when two or more people engage in bad faith and gain benefit from this intent. Child abuse is defined as maltreatment of children by adults. Abuse occurs as a result of social interaction. When the studies on child abuse emerged as a result of social interaction are examined; It is seen that the majority of studies that deal with the problems experienced by individuals from the psychological aspect and the effects of self on the individual are in the majority. Child abuse and neglect is a social problem that arises in the family and during the socialization process and causes negative effects on the child at the psychological level. It is known that there are cases that are not reflected in the statistics as well as the cases that are known due to some dynamics in the nature of child abuse abuse. In this respect, there is a dark area between what actually happened and the cases reflected in the statistics. Since the existence of this dark area is at a level that will pose a problem in the society, the phenomenon of abuse emerges as a social phenomenon that should be examined in sociological terms. This study develops a sociological approach to the subject of abuse and evaluates the subject with the basic dynamics of social interaction. It deals with the social trajectories of abuse by addressing the addiction process and the dynamics of socialization, in which the individual adopts the values and norms of the society, within the framework of the models developed on child abuse and neglect. In this context, the study tries to highlight the social phenomenon of abuse within the framework of socialization by dealing with the issue of abuse with cultural, social, economic and developmental models.
