DESCRIPTION OF CREATIVE APPLICATION-BASED GARMENT DESIGNS THROUGH VISUAL QUALIFIED INDICATORS

The design is a concept that includes problem solving, creativity, system, consistency, and cultural-artistic activities in it self and is an action that units science approach with creative dimensions. The design research process is to determine the information of human-made objects or their image, composition, structure, aims, values and meanings. In this study, it is aimed to attract notice connection of source of inspiration-silhouette-pattern for constitution/ maintenance of design and designer identity, through design research content basing on creative application. This research is descriptive. Case screening method was used. Determined by criteria sampling technique, totally 216 dresses design in the ready-to-wear spring-summer collections of two designers for the years between 2010-2015 has been formed the sample group of the research. The design were analyzed in terms of visual properties. The result of research, it is seen that designers benefit from different inspiration sources and direct in accordance with inspiration sources to pattern-silhouette properties. Despite the use of the digital printing method of both designers, selections of inspiration sources and forms of out pouring to line of vision have contributed greatly to significantly differentiation of designers. Thus, it is reached that aimed values of originality-creativity.
