The main purpose of the article is to reveal the general framework of scientific studies that emphasize the strategic importance of inter-organizational networks. For this purpose, the main discussion topics in the relevant literature were determined. The findings obtained through research and examinations in international scientific journals were evaluated collectively. In the literature review, the main axis discussions in the researches on network structures were determined. This article examines the main debates on network organizations, draws attention to the theoretical aspects, and conducts a study that provides an explanation of the accepted assumptions. Discussion topics and main findings on organizational networks published in international academic journals in the last three years are examined in a comparative and chronological manner in the form of a table. There are studies in the literature claiming that strategic partnerships and creating synergies and value chains are supported by taking place in inter-organizational networks. In the literature, there are discussions on the reasons for joining organizational networks and the advantages of being a member of a network. There are discussions that the reasons for participation in inter-organizational networks may be affected by the phenomenon of resilience.
