Rehberlik ve Psikolojik Danışmanlık Alanında Gerçekleştirilen Özel Eğitime İlişkin Araştırmaların İncelenmesi

Öz

Rehber ve psikolojik danışmanlar özel eğitime yönelik görev ve sorumluluklarında ihtiyaçları olan mesleki bilgi ve becerilerini lisans ve lisans sonrası aldıkları eğitimler yoluyla edinmektedirler. Bu bilgi ve becerilerin desteklenmesi, güncel bilgilerin sunulması bağlamında özel eğitime ilişkin araştırmalar önemli bilgi kaynaklarıdır. Bu araştırmada, rehberlik ve psikolojik danışmanlık alanında yayımlanan ve özel eğitime yönelik araştırmaları temel betimsel özellikleri bağlamında incelemek, eğilimlerini ortaya koymak ve bulgularını değerlendirmek amaçlanmıştır. Geleneksel tarama olarak desenlenen araştırmaya 2015-2024 yılları arasında yayımlanmış ve belirlenen ölçütleri karşılayan 13 makale dahil edilmiştir. İçerik analizi sonucunda elde edilen bazı betimsel bulgular, araştırmalarda çoğunlukla nicel yöntemin kullanıldığı (%53,8), desen olarak ise tarama (%38,5) ve fenomenoloji (%38,5) desenlerinin kullanıldığını göstermektedir. Konu yönelimlerine ilişkin bulgular ise araştırmaların %46,2 oranında özel eğitime ilişkin özyeterlilik algısını konu aldığını göstermektedir. Makalelerin bulgularının analiziyle ulaşılan temel sonuç ise, özyeterlilik algısının artırılmasında farklı yetersizlik gruplarına ilişkin özel eğitim alan uzmanlarınca verilecek teorik ve uygulamalı derslerin artırılması gerektiğidir. Rehberlik ve psikolojik danışmanlık lisans programlarının niteliğini artırmak için hem teorik hem de uygulama becerilerini içeren çok yönlü bir yapının kurulması psikolojik danışman adaylarının özyeterliliklerinin artırılması ve gelecekteki özel eğitim çalışmaları için önemlidir.

A Study of Research in Special Education within Guidance and Psychological Counseling

Öz

Guidance and psychological counselors offer various duties and responsibilities relevant to special education. Professional knowledge and skills significant to these duties are acquired through undergraduate and postgraduate education. Research on special education serves as a crucial source of information in supporting knowledge and skills while imparting current knowledge. This study investigates the research on special education within the domain of guidance and psychological counseling, focusing on basic descriptive characteristics to identify trends and evaluate findings. This study included 13 articles published between 2015 and 2024 that met the specified criteria, utilizing a traditional survey design. Descriptive findings from content analysis indicate that the quantitative method was predominantly employed in the studies (53.8%) along with with survey (38.5%), and phenomenology (38.5%) designs. Research indicates that 46.2% of the studies examined the perception of self-efficacy within the context of special education. The analysis of the articles has led to the conclusion that there should be an increase in theoretical and practical courses for various disability groups provided by special education specialists in order to enhance self-efficacy perception. To enhance the quality of guidance and counseling undergraduate programs, it is essential to create a comprehensive framework that integrates both theoretical and practical skills aimed at boosting the self-efficacy of counselor candidates and future special education studies.
