Using a Bibliography Management Programme
From 1 January 2027, the use of Zotero, Mendeley or a similar reference management programme is mandatory for articles submitted to our journal. Authors must use these programmes to format their in-text citations, footnotes and reference lists; they must also check, prior to submission, that the citations match the reference list, that the bibliographic information is accurate, and that the submission complies with the journal’s style guidelines.
From the specified date onwards, articles that do not meet this requirement will not be considered during the editorial pre-screening stage and will be rejected. The use of reference management software does not absolve authors of their responsibility regarding the accuracy of sources and compliance with academic ethical principles.
This regulation has been implemented with the aim of raising the standards of referencing in works published in the journal, ensuring bibliographic consistency and enhancing the effectiveness of editorial processes.
