Bio

Md. Al Amin is an Assistant Professor (On Study Leave) of Marketing, Bangabandhu Sheikh
Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University, Gopaganj-8100, Bangladesh and a thesis supervisor (at Master in Intentional Business) at Glasgow Caledonian University London Campus, UK. Previously, he has served as a Lecturer at different reputed universities of Bangladesh (e.g., Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University, Daffodil International University, BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology and Daffodil Institute of IT). In addition, he served as a team member on a transnational (i.e., Bangladesh, Germany, Poland) cooperation project named MELBU (More Entrepreneur Life in Bangladeshi Universities) funded by Erasmus+ and the European Union for strengthening the entrepreneurial activities among university students of the southern region of Bangladesh.


Mr Al Amin is currently pursuing his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at School of Business and
Management (SBM), Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), UK, receiving the most
competitive fully funded QMUL’s SBM Doctoral Studentship for 2022-2023. Whereas, he
pursued his Master of Philosophy (M.Phil), Master of Business Administration (MBA) and
Bachelor of Business administration (BBA) in Marketing from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
His research interest lies in the areas of business analytics, sustainability, anthropomorphic
artificial intelligence, service robot embarrassment, consumer smart technology adoption behavior, and social media marketing. Besides, he received numerous internal and external research project fundings as a principal investigator in Bangladesh.
Mr Al Amin has 20+ scientific research papers, published by leading national and international
business journals (e.g., Journal of Financial Services Marketing, Journal of Food Products
Marketing, Journal of Global Marketing, E-Learning, and Digital Media, European Journal of
Management and Business Economics, Psychology Research and Behavior Management, etc.). He
is also an active reviewer of some reputed international journals (e.g., Journal of Retailing and
Consumer Services, Journal of Financial Services Marketing, Management of Environmental
Quality, Environment Development and Sustainability, Journal of Food Products
Marketing, Psychology Research and Behavior Management, Education and Information
Technologies, International Journal of Quality and Service Sciences etc). For details:
