Bio
I first saw the light of day in the first year of the Iraq-Iranian war at Baghdad – Iraq, the cradle of civilizations. We had to emigrate to Turkey in the last year of the war in 1988 because of Saddam’s oppressive regime against to Iraqi Turks when I was studying there in primary school. I, as 8-year-old with my family settled down Edirne – Turkey and raised and lived here until the end of the high school. After I attended two years vocational school, Machinery Programme at Erciyes University in Kayseri, I have achieved to get my bachelor’s degree in Classical Archaeology, at Trakya University, the faculty of arts. Later, at the same university, I continued with archival researches on Edirne City by pursuing Master's degree in Art History Department on “Edirne Stone Bridges.” I am dealing with the studies that have been done by scanning the state or private archives materials and collecting maps, sketches and plans of Edirne city, making digital restoration and revamping them for today's. Currently, I am going on my study life with Ph.D. level education process at the Department of History of Trakya University Institute of Social Sciences. Besides, during the spring 2018 semester, I have been lecturing the Anthropology course to social sciences teaching department’s undergraduate students at Trakya University Faculty of Education. I also work on meteorite cases in the Ottoman archive records from state archives of the Prime Ministry of the Republic of Turkey.
