Cengiz Koçak graduated from the Department of Biology, Science Faculty of Ege University, Izmir-Turkey. Currently, he is a hidrobiologist working at Fisheries Faculty of Ege University, Department of Hydrobiology. He was appointed as an Associate Professor in 2008 and since January 2015 he is a Professor at the same department. His research mainly focuses on taxonomy, identification and ecology of marine Arthropoda:Crustacea and Pycnogonida (sea spiders).
Research expertise: Marine biology, ecology, taxonomy.
