Dr. Klodjan Xhexhi has a vast academic experience at the national and international level, giving his contribution to FAU (Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism); and Epoka University. He currently holds the Head of the Architecture and Engineering Department position at Polis University, Tirana, Albania. He has always been in touch with professional literature in the field of architecture, expressing great interest and passion for it.
His career as a professional designer in the field of architecture began immediately after graduation, being part of a well-known design studio in Tirana, Albania (Studio Enigma) and then as part of one of the most important groups in Albania (Hysenbelliu Group), he also has one extensive experience in the field of design and implementation by designing and implementing a series important architectural project. Experienced Architect with a demonstrated history of working in the Exterior and Interior architecture & planning industry.
He received his PhD degree in 2021 and has published 51 scientific publications, and 2 books and participated in various international scientific conferences. Immediately after receiving the degree “Doctor of Science”, he published his first book in the field of architecture.
His interests mainly focus on construction materials, building technology, sustainable architecture, and bioclimatic design. His second book in collaboration with a well-known publishing house, Springer, was recently launched in January 2023.
