Ömer Faruk Dere Istanbul-1973
He studied Theology (Undergraduate), Art History (Master's Degree, Doctorate). He left twenty-seven years behind in the art studies he started during his faculty years. Dere, who produces works in calligraphy, marbling, and calligraphy, has many works in many collections and museums in Turkey and abroad. He specialized in art in two private museums. He continued his work as an art instructor at İBB İSMEK for seventeen years. Nearly twenty students he trained became teachers. He held exhibitions, conferences, and workshops in 23 countries. He has published seventeen books and eighteen articles on art and art history. He presented his academic studies as a paper in symposiums and congresses. The artist, who continues his art studies in his studio, continues to work as a lecturer in public and private institutions. Dere, who speaks Arabic and English, is married with three children.
