About

Acarological Studies (AS) is a peer-reviewed, international scientific journal that publishes and promotes research in acarology worldwide. The journal uses a double-anonymous (double-blind) peer review process and publishes research on diverse aspects of mites, including anatomy, behaviour, biodiversity, conservation, biological control, ecology, medical acarology, morphology, phylogeny, physiology, systematics, veterinary acarology and zoogeography.

The journal also welcomes case studies, monographs, revisions, reviews, catalogues, checklists, descriptions of taxa and nomenclature for consideration. All submitted manuscripts must be original and unpublished and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Manuscripts may be submitted in English or Turkish, with an English abstract and references in English.

AS is a fully open access journal with no publication fees and follows a continuous publication model. The journal is hosted on DergiPark, which provides online hosting and editorial workflow services for academic journals.
