Aim & Scope

The aim of Acarological Studies (AS) is to promote acarological research worldwide. The journal welcomes research addressing acarology and its diverse connections across the life sciences and other fields of scientific inquiry.

AS publishes research papers on diverse aspects of mites, including anatomy, behaviour, biodiversity, conservation, biological control, ecology, medical acarology, morphology, phylogeny, physiology, systematics, veterinary acarology and zoogeography. The journal also welcomes case studies, monographs, revisions, reviews, catalogues, checklists, descriptions of taxa and nomenclature.
