Acta Medica Nicomedia

Dear Colleagues,

Acta Medica Nicomedia has adopted the Continuous Publication Model as of January 1, 2026.

Acta Medica Nicomedia was established as the official scientific publication of Kocaeli University Faculty of Medicine and started publishing articles in the DergiPark journal management system in October 2019.

Acta Medica Nicomedia is published as electronically within the framework of the principles of independent, unbiased and double-blind peer review. The official publication languages of our journal are Turkish and English. A Manuscript Processing Fee of 7,500 TL (including VAT) is charged for articles submitted to and published in Acta Medica Nicomedia. This is an open access journal, and articles are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 License, which allows others to remix, tweak, and build upon the work non-commercially, as long as appropriate credit is given and the new creations are licensed under the identical terms.

The primary aim of our journal is to publish original research, review, case report, technical report, short paper, letter to the editor in the field of basic and clinical medical sciences in accordance with national and international standards within the framework of scientific and ethical rules, and to contribute academic knowledge in the medical field.
