1. The manuscript is submitted to the journal via the Dergipark system by the corresponding author.
2. A Chief Editor is assigned to the manuscript within the Dergipark system.
3. The Chief Editor reviews whether the manuscript should enter the evaluation process. If deemed unsuitable, the manuscript may be rejected or, if necessary, returned to the author. If suitable, an Area Editor is assigned.
4. The Area Editor sends the manuscript to a Language Editor to check compliance with writing and formatting rules and to perform the initial review. If the manuscript does not meet the journal’s writing standards at this stage, it is either rejected or returned to the author for formatting corrections.
5. Manuscripts that pass the initial review proceed to peer review. The Area Editor sends the manuscript to two independent reviewers under the double-blind peer review system.
6. If a rejection decision is made after peer review, the rejection and its reasons are communicated to the author, and the manuscript is rejected.
7. If a revision decision is made, the Area Editor immediately informs the author, and the manuscript status is updated to “under revision” in the system. The author completes the revisions in accordance with the reviewers’ comments through the system.
8. If the reviewers wish to see the manuscript after revision, the revised version is sent to them, and the process continues according to their evaluation.
9. After revision, a Language Editor may be assigned for final language corrections. The manuscript may be sent to the author for language edits, and the process continues once corrections are completed and uploaded to the system.
10. Manuscripts that receive positive evaluations from both reviewers proceed to typesetting and are assigned to an issue for publication.
