The aim of the journal is to publish original researches in all sub-fields of social sciences and to support interdisciplinary-multidisciplinary studies in these fields by taking part in national and international indices.

Journal of social sciences; History, sociology, philosophy, archeology, law, political science, international relations, economics, business, psychology and communication sciences. All sub-categories of Social Sciences are covered by the journal.

Anatolian Academy Social Sciences Journal (ASBID) (ISSN 2667-5471) is a double-blind which started its publication life in 2019, is scanned in national / international indexes such as CiteFactor, Index Copernicus, Google Scholar and Asos Index and published at least twice a year. It is an academic, international and peer-reviewed, open access, scientific journal that carries out a (confidential) peer-review process.

Our journal continues its publication activities on the address https://dergipark.org.tr/tr/pub/Anadoluakademi.


Anatolian Academy Social Sciences Journal (ASBİD) social sciences; It aims to present original / national and international studies on many different sub-disciplines such as history, sociology, philosophy, archeology, law, political science, international relations, economics, business, psychology and communication sciences to scientists. All subcategories of Social Sciences are covered by the journal. Studies submitted to our journal must not have been published elsewhere or sent for publication. Information about publication in studies derived from postgraduate theses and papers should be indicated in a footnote. Our journal includes articles in Turkish and English languages; authors are required to prepare their work in accordance with the necessary rules in terms of grammar and spelling.


Therefore, the information of the author / authors should not be displayed on the manuscripts.


It will be sufficient to upload the required documents regarding the author (s) to the DERGIPARK system during the application process.


The studies decided to be published as a result of the referee evaluation will be sent to the author / authors again for final reading; Meanwhile, they will be asked to add the necessary information to the text.

It is mandatory for all authors in the articles submitted to our journal to upload their "ORCID" numbers to the system.

Studies should be prepared in Microsoft Word program. Studies should be prepared according to the following spelling rules:

Studies that are not prepared according to these rules will be sent to the authors for editing; Studies that do not make the necessary regulation will be rejected.
Studies should be prepared on A4 size paper. Margins;
 3 cm from the top edge,
 3.5 cm from the left edge,
 It should be arranged as 2.5 cm from the bottom and right edges.


The font should be preferred as Times New Roman for the entire work. Regarding fonts, the following points should be considered:
 Study title (Turkish and English), all capital letters, 14 pt.
 Abstracts in 8 pt. Justified,
 Normal text 10 pt. Justified,
 Line spacing 1.5,
 First 0 pt and After 6 pt,
 There is no indent.

The introduction and main headings in the article will be numbered sequentially as 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. and all will be in capital letters. Subheadings 1.1. 2.2. 3.3. 4.4. 5.5. And only the first letters will be capital.

Author / authors should prepare in-text citations and references of their work to APA 6 Rules (American Psychological Association).

Author / Authors are required to take the entire plagiarism report and upload it to the system as an attachment file with the article. Legal responsibility at the point of plagiarism belongs entirely to the author (s)

The editorial board has the right to reject the articles that are deemed unsuitable as a result of its preliminary evaluation.

Articles deemed appropriate by the editorial board are included in the evaluation process and sent to two referees who are experts in their fields. If a positive report is received from both referees to whom the article was sent, the Journal Editor / Editorial Board decides whether the article can be published or not, or in what issue. If one or two referees give negative opinions, the article is not published and rejected.

For studies that are decided to be published as a result of the evaluation process, it is obligatory to add an extended abstract between 700-1000 words.

The responsibility of the expressions in the studies belongs to the authors. The management of the journal does not have any legal responsibility due to the studies published in the Anatolian Academy Social Sciences Journal.

No transaction fee is requested from the author (s) who submit their work to journal.

The editors and editorial board of journal have all the authority in matters not specified within the framework of the Publication Principles and Writing Rules.

                                                                                      ETHICAL PRINCIPLES AND PUBLICATION POLICY

During the restructuring process of our journal, publication principles and policies were changed. In this context, our ethical principles and editorial policies have also been renewed, and it is strongly requested that our authors, referees and field editors take these principles and policies into account in their processes.


The conditions and publication processes for article acceptance applied by Anadolu Academy Journal of Social Sciences aim to form the basis for the development and distribution of information in an impartial and respectful manner.


It is thought that the processes implemented in this direction will contribute to the quality of the work of the authors and the institutions that support the authors. Peer-reviewed studies are studies that embody and support the scientific method. At this point, it is important that all stakeholders of the process (authors, readers and researchers, publishers, referees and editors) comply with the standards of ethical principles. Anadolu Academy Journal of Social Sciences is expected to bear the following ethical responsibilities from all stakeholders within the scope of publication ethics.


The ethical duties and responsibilities below have been prepared by taking into account the guidelines and policies published by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) as open access.


Author (s) who submit an article to Anadolu Academy Journal of Social Sciences are expected to comply with the following ethical responsibilities: Author (s) must cite and / or cite completely and accurately if the submitted works are original, if the author (s) benefit from other studies or use other studies. The situations and relationships of all studies submitted for publication that may constitute a conflict of interest, if any, should be explained.


The document showing that the author (s) have the right to use the data used, have the necessary permissions for the research / analysis, or have carried out the permission procedures for the experimental subjects (For the articles sent to our journal and requiring an ethics committee report, the ethics committee report is requested if the data of 2020 and later are used. ) must have. In the event that the author (s) notices an inaccuracy or error in their published work at the early view or evaluation stage, the journal editor or publisher has an obligation to cooperate with the editor in informing, correcting or withdrawing.


Authors cannot have their work in the application process of more than one journal at the same time. Each application can be started following completion of the previous application. A study published in another journal cannot be sent to Anadolu Academy Social Sciences Journal. Changing the author responsibilities of a study whose evaluation process has started (adding authors, changing author order, removing authors, etc.) cannot be proposed. Authors carry out all of their procedures with the editor-in-chief during the evaluation. During the evaluation period and even after the evaluation is completed, they cannot directly contact the editor and referees or request information.


ETHICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CHIEF EDITOR AND EDITORIAL BOARD


General Duties And Responsibilities


• The Editorial Board is responsible for every publication published in Anadolu Academy Social Sciences Journal. In the context of this responsibility, editors have the following roles and responsibilities:

• Striving to meet the information needs of readers and writers,

• Continuous improvement of the journal,

• Conducting processes to improve the quality of the studies published in the journal,

• Supporting freedom of thought,

• Continuing business processes without compromising intellectual property rights and ethical standards,

• Showing clarity and transparency in terms of publication in matters that require correction or explanation.


Relations With The Reader

• Editors; All readers should make decisions by taking into account the knowledge, skills and experience expectations of researchers and practitioners.

• The reader, researcher, practitioner, and the published studies should be careful to contribute to the fields of science in question and be original.

• Editors are obliged to take into account the feedback from readers, researchers and practitioners and to provide explanatory and informative feedback.



Relations With Authors


Editors' duties and responsibilities towards authors are as follows:

Editors should decide based on the importance of the work, its original value, method, clarity of expression, and relevance to the journal's goals and objectives.

Unless the studies that are suitable for the scope of the publication do not have an important problem, they should be included in the pre-evaluation stage.

It should ensure that evaluation processes take place on time.

New editors should not change the decisions made by the previous editor (s) regarding the work, unless there is a serious problem.

The "Blind Review and Evaluation Process" must be published and editors must prevent any deviations that may occur in the defined processes.

Editors should publish a "Author's Guide" detailing every subject that will be expected of them by the authors.

These guides should be updated periodically.

Descriptive and informative notification and feedback should be provided to the authors.



Relations With Referees

The duties and responsibilities of editors towards referees are as follows:

The referees should determine in accordance with the subject of the study.

It is obliged to provide the information and guides that the referees will need during the evaluation phase.

It should consider whether there is a conflict of interest between the authors and referees.

In the context of the blind referee assessment, the identity information of the referees should be kept confidential.

Encourage referees to consider working in an impartial, scientific and objective language.

It should evaluate the referees with criteria such as timely return and performance.

It should ensure that the referee pool is constantly and dynamically updated.

It should prevent impolite and unscientific evaluations.

He should strive for the referee pool to be made up of a broad spectrum.



Relations With The Editorial / Advisory Board

Editor; ensure that all editorial / advisory board members conduct the processes in accordance with broadcasting policies and guidelines.

The editorial / advisory board should inform the members about the editorial policies and keep them informed of the developments.

The editorial / advisory board members should ensure that they evaluate the work impartially and independently.

Identify new editorial / advisory board members who are able to contribute and are appropriate.

Interacting with the editorial / advisory board regularly.

It should organize meetings with the editorial / advisory board at regular intervals for the development of publishing policies and the journal.



Editorial And Blind Review Processes

Editors; It is obliged to implement the "Blind Refereeing and Evaluation Process" policies in the journal publishing policies.

In this context, editors ensure that the evaluation process of each work is completed fairly, impartially and on time.



Quality Assurance

Editors; is responsible for publishing every article published in the journal in accordance with the journal publishing policies.


Protection Of Personal Data


Editors; are obliged to ensure the protection of personal data regarding the subjects, participants or visuals in the evaluated studies. Unless the express consent of the participants in the studies is documented, it is responsible for refusing to work. In addition, the editors; is responsible for protecting the individual data of the author, referee and readers.



Ethics Committee, Human And Animal Rights

Editors; are obliged to ensure the protection of human and animal rights in the evaluated studies. It is obliged to refuse to study in cases where there is no ethics committee approval for the subjects used in the studies or the necessary permissions for experimental research.



Prevention Against Possible Misconduct And Misconduct

Editors; are obliged to take measures against possible misconduct and misconduct. In addition to conducting a meticulous and objective investigation in determining and evaluating complaints regarding this situation, it is among the editor's responsibilities to share findings on the subject.



To Ensure Academic Publication Integrity

Editors should ensure that any errors, inconsistencies, or misleading judgments in the work are quickly corrected.



Protection Of Intellectual Property Rights

Editors; are obliged to protect the intellectual property rights of all published articles and to defend the rights of the journal and the author (s) in possible violations. In addition, editors are obliged to take the necessary measures to ensure that the content in all published articles does not violate the intellectual property rights of other publications.


Constructiveness And Openness To Discussion

Editors; should take into account the persuasive criticism of the works published in the journal and display a constructive attitude towards these criticisms. It should give the author (s) the right to reply to the criticized studies. He should not ignore or exclude studies with negative results.

Objections
Editors; is obliged to respond in an enlightening and descriptive way by carefully examining the objections from the author, referee or readers.

Conflicts Of Interest
Editors; taking into account the conflicts of interest between the author (s), referees and other editors, it is obliged to guarantee the completion of the publication process of the studies in an independent and impartial manner.


ETHICAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF REFEREES


The evaluation of all studies through the "Blind Review" process directly affects the quality of the publication. This process provides confidence through objective and independent evaluation of the publication. The evaluation process of Anadolu Akademi Social Sciences Journal is carried out with the principle of double-blind refereeing (1 editor / field editor and 3 referees). Referees cannot contact the authors directly, evaluations and comments are submitted through the journal management system. In this process, referee comments on evaluation forms and full texts are transmitted to the author (s) through the editor / field editor. In this context, referees who evaluate articles for Anadolu Academy Social Sciences Journal are expected to have the following ethical responsibilities:


• It should only agree to evaluate articles related to the field of expertise.

• It should evaluate in impartiality and confidentiality.

• If he / she thinks that he / she faces a conflict of interest during the evaluation process, he / she should refuse to examine the study and inform the editor of the journal.

• Due to the confidentiality principle, they should destroy the articles they have reviewed after the evaluation process. They can only use the studies they have reviewed after they are published.

• He should make the assessment objectively only in relation to the content of the study.

• It should not allow nationality, gender, religious beliefs, political views and commercial concerns to influence the assessment.

• The assessment should be made in a constructive and courteous language. He should not make derogatory personal comments that contain hostility, slander and insult.

• They must perform the work they have accepted to evaluate, in a timely manner and with the above ethical responsibilities.

Publisher of Anadolu Academy Social Sciences Journal and Publishing / Advisory Board of Anadolu Academy Social Sciences Journal act with the awareness of the following ethical responsibilities regarding Anadolu Academy Social Sciences Journal:

The Editorial Board is responsible for all processes of the studies submitted to the Anadolu Academy Social Sciences Journal.

In this context, the decision makers are the Chief Editor and the Editorial Board, regardless of economic or political gains.
It allows the editor to make independent decisions.
Anadolu Academy Social Sciences Journal protects the property and copyright of every published article and undertakes the obligation to keep a record of every published copy.
It is obliged to take precautions regarding all kinds of scientific misconduct, citation fraud and plagiarism regarding the Editorial Board.
