JOURNAL OF ORIENTAL LANGUAGES
The Ankara University Journal of Eastern Languages (AÜ-DODİLDER) – Journal of Oriental Languages – is an open-access, peer-reviewed, multilingual academic e-journal published biannually (in June and December) by the Department of Eastern Languages and Literatures, Faculty of Languages, History and Geography, Ankara University.
With a well-established history, the Journal of Eastern Languages published a total of 13 issues between 1964 and 1996, featuring significant scholarly contributions in the field of Eastern languages and literatures.
The journal resumed publication in 2021 and aims to contribute to academic scholarship by publishing original research articles, translated articles, and book reviews in the field of Eastern languages.
In addition to accepting manuscripts in Turkish and English, the journal also welcomes submissions in Arabic, Persian, Chinese, Hindi (Hindī), Hebrew, Japanese, Korean, and Urdu.
The scientific and legal responsibility for the opinions and views expressed in the articles rests solely with the author(s). The journal is indexed in the MLA International Bibliography database prepared by the Modern Language Association.
For submissions to the journal, it is mandatory to complete the “Artificial Intelligence (AI) Usage Declaration Form” prepared by the academic board of the university, in order to ensure that the use of artificial intelligence complies with ethical standards.
