Bitlis Eren Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Dergisi

Bitlis Eren University Journal of Social Sciences, published uninterruptedly since 2012, is an international, peer-reviewed, electronic, and fully open-access academic journal that brings studies produced across all areas of social sciences and humanities into the literature.

The primary aim of our journal is to support the production of qualified scientific knowledge in the field of social sciences, to bring high-standard research to the academic world, and to lay the groundwork for interdisciplinary discussions. Accordingly, the target audience of our journal consists of national and international academics, researchers, policymakers, and graduate students. By promoting studies that address regional and international dynamics (such as urbanization, cultural interactions, public policies, and historical transformations), our journal aims to contribute to scholarly communication among research communities in Türkiye, Europe, and surrounding regions.

Published biannually in June and December, our journal accepts theoretical or applied original research articles and review papers written in Turkish and English. To ensure international accessibility and indexability, an English abstract is mandatory for all articles published in Turkish.

Operating with double-blind peer review processes and adopting the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI), our journal does not charge authors any article processing charges (APC) at any stage of the publication process.
