Important Notice: Regarding the Updated Manuscript Format and Article Templates (15.05.2026)
Dear Authors,
As part of our journal's restructuring process, our article writing format has been updated to further elevate our publication quality and provide our esteemed authors, with a much more practical publishing experience. Our renewed template includes the following updates and improvements:
To make the template easier for our authors to use, the visual hierarchy has been clarified, improving text readability and overall design integrity.
To highlight our institutional affiliation within the design, the corporate colors from our university's logo have been integrated into various sections of the template.
In accordance with our principles of scientific transparency, important declarations—such as artificial intelligence usage, conflicts of interest, funding, and ethics committee approval—have been standardized into a clear, easy-to-fill format.
An "Extended Abstract" section has been added to our template to boost the international visibility, citation potential, and overall impact of our articles. This requirement will be implemented for articles published starting in June 2026.

Important Notice: Regarding Article Acceptance for the June 2026 Issue (04.05.2026)
Dear Authors,
We would like to thank you for the profound interest you have shown in our journal during this new period we have embarked upon with our renewed editorial team. Due to the current high volume of submissions, our article acceptance quota for the June 2026 issue of the Beykent University Journal of Science and Engineering has been reached. All articles uploaded to the system as of May 4, 2026, will be included in the evaluation process for the December 2026 issue, in accordance with our publication planning.

Published by the Istanbul Beykent University Institute of Graduate Studies, the Beykent University Journal of Science and Engineering (BUJSE) is an international, peer-reviewed academic platform in the fields of science, engineering, and architecture. Contributing to the scientific community since 2007, our journal accepts articles in both Turkish and English and is published biannually, with issues released in June and December.
Our journal continues its activities with its renewed editorial board as of 2026. Our main goal is to elevate our quality standards in scientific publishing and to support academic production processes. In line with this restructuring process, we aim to ensure the continuous development of our journal and to contribute more effectively to the scientific world.

Our journal evaluates original and scientific articles prepared by researchers in the following disciplines:
Engineering and Informatics: Computer, Biomedical, Electrical and Electronics, Industrial, Energy Systems, Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, and Software Engineering, as well as Information Technologies.
Basic Sciences: Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and Applied Mathematics.
Architecture and Design: Architecture, Interior Architecture, Urban Design, and Industrial Design.
Free Publication Policy
Adopting the principle of supporting accessibility to science, BUJSE does not charge authors any fees at any stage of the article submission, peer review, or publication processes.
