An article submitted for publication in Dini Arastırmalar should be an original research paper that is based upon a research and filling a gap in its subject matter.
Authors who want to send articles to our journal are charged a service fee of 650 TL for 2023 regardless of the acceptance or rejection requirement during the application. Whether the article is published or not, this fee is non-refundable. In this respect, our journal is not included in the category of journals that High Education Council (YÖK) recognizes as predatory/dubious.
Indeed;
In the decision taken by the General Assembly of the Council of Higher Education dated 07.03.2019 and regarding the conditions of application for associate professorship, it is stated that journals (predatory/dubious journals) that charge a fee or additional fee from the author for publication after the acceptance of the article, valid for articles published after 07.03.2019, cannot be used in the associate professorship application conditions (declaration) due to the fact that this relationship involves a conflict of interest, but they must be added to the list of resumes and works is specified.
Accordingly, the following journals are not considered predatory/dubious and can be used in the application conditions (declaration) for associate professorship:
• Journals that receive a fee during the article application - regardless of the acceptance/rejection condition,
• Journals that work with a subscription but charge a fee to make the relevant article open access,
• Journals that do not charge any fees from the authors during the article printing process
