1. Copyright and Licensing Policy
The Aegean Journal of Medical Sciences follows an open access publishing policy.
All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0),
which complies with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition of open access.
2. Copyright Form
Authors must complete and sign the Copyright Transfer Form, which must bear the wet signatures of all authors.
By signing this form, the authors:
• Agree that upon acceptance, their article will be published under the CC BY-NC 4.0 license,
• Retain the intellectual property rights to their work,
• Transfer the commercial usage rights of the article to the Uşak Surgical Association.
3. License Terms (CC BY-NC 4.0)
Under this license:
• Articles may be copied, distributed, adapted, and reused for non-commercial purposes,
provided proper credit is given to the original source.
• No prior permission is required from the author(s) or the publisher.
• Commercial use of the article requires permission from the Uşak Surgical Association.
