Aim & Scope
The Journal of Economics, Business and Finance is a scientific and periodical journal. Our journalserves as a publication tool in solving problems in the field of economics and business. It is thought that the studies published in the journal will make significant contributions to these fields.
Studies in the fields of business, economics, finance, public finance, labor economics and econometrics are accepted in our journal.
Author Guidelines
Please note the following spelling rules when writing your paper. Articles that do not comply with the rules will not be accepted and will be returned without being included in the referee process.In particular, tables and figures should be grouped so that they do not slip. In addition, tables and figures should not go beyond the page dimensions.
- The number of pages (including references / references) should never exceed 20.
- The size of the text is 12 points.
- The page size will be A4.
-The formulas and figures and all formulas must be grouped as in the following examples.

Ethical Principles and Publication Policy
The publication process of the Journal of Economics, Business and Finance Studies is based on the unbiased production, development and sharing of information using scientific methods; Commits to preventing wrong practices in publishing by adhering to academic principles and in accordance with the determined academic and ethical standards.
Peer-reviewed studies are studies that embody and support the scientific method. In the publishing process, it is important that the authors, readers and researchers, referees and editors comply with the standards of ethical principles. All stakeholders are expected to bear ethical responsibilities within the scope of the publication ethics of the Journal of Economics, Business and Finance Studies.
The principles published by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) are adopted as open access in ethical duties and responsibilities in the Journal of Economics, Business and Finance Studies.
Ethical Rules
Within the scope of publication ethics, the Journal of Economics, Business and Finance Studies is expected from all stakeholders to bear the following ethical responsibilities:
Author's Responsibilities
· It is the author's responsibility to ensure that the studies submitted for publication have academic and scientific qualities.
· The author declares that all data in the article are original.
Citations and bibliography must be cited completely.
· Although the plagiarism screening will be done by the journal, the responsible person of the plagiarism is accepted as the author and the results are directed to the author (s).
· A study sent to the journal should not be sent to another journal or journals at the same time. It should be ensured that all authors whose names are written in the article contribute to the research. It is against the ethics of science to show people who have no academic contribution as additional authors or to rank authors with non-scientific criteria such as title, age and gender, regardless of the order of contribution.
· It is assumed that the authors who submit articles to the journal have read and accepted the ethical rules, publication principles and writing principles of the journal. Authors should take into account the "Scientific Research and Publication Ethics Directive" specified by the Council of Higher Education.
Whether the articles to be published in the journals require ethics committee permission and / or legal / special permission should be stated in the article. If these permissions are required, it should be clearly presented from which institution, on what date and with which decision or issue number the permit was obtained.
If the study requires the use of human and animal subjects, it must be declared that the study was carried out in accordance with international declaration, guideline, etc.
Responsibilities of the Referee
· Referees should act with the awareness that they are the most basic determinant of the academic quality of the article to be published in the journal and evaluate them with the responsibility of increasing academic quality.
· Reviewers should only accept peer review of articles for which they have the expertise required to make an appropriate review.
· After the article review process, any information about the reviewed article should not be shared with others in any way.
· Referees should only evaluate the accuracy of the content of the articles and their compliance with academic criteria. The fact that the opinions expressed in the article differ from those of the referee should not affect the evaluation.
· Referee reports should be objective and measured. Insulting, insulting and accusing statements should be avoided.
· Referees should avoid superficial and ambiguous statements in evaluation reports. In the evaluations with negative results, the missing and flawed issues on which the result is based should be explained concretely.
· Referees should evaluate the articles within the time given to them. If they are not going to make an assessment, they should report it to the journal within a reasonable time.
Editorial Responsibilities
· Editors should accept articles that will contribute to the relevant fields specified in the journal policy to the evaluation process.
· Editors should prioritize academic concerns and criteria when accepting articles to the journal.
· Editors have full responsibility and authority to accept or reject an article.
· Editors should not have a conflict of interest / relationship with the authors of the articles they accept or reject.
· Support the release or withdrawal of the correction when errors are found.
· Editors should make the necessary effort to prevent plagiarism / fake data.
· It is the editors' responsibility to keep the names of referees and authors mutually confidential.
· In the selection of the referees, the author should not give refereeing to people who have previously published a collaborative work, who have helped pre-read their studies, known to have problems with them before, who will benefit financially from the publication of the study, and who work in the same institution / unit with the author.
Price Policy
The Journal of Economics, Business and Finance Research provides open access as it adopts the principle that scientific research will be provided free of charge to humanity and that it will increase the global sharing of knowledge. In this framework, no fee is charged for sending articles, compilations, book reviews, etc. in our journal.

1985 yılında İstanbul’da doğan Osman Akgül 2004 yılında girmiş olduğum İstanbul Üniversitesi iktisat fakültesi İngilizce iktisat bölümünden mezun olduktan sonra Yüksek lisans ve doktora derecelerini yine aynı fakültenin çalışma ekonomisi bölümü bölümünde tamamlamıştır.
Akademik çalışmalarının bir kanadını ücretler oluşturmakta, diğer kanadını dezavantajlı grupların içinde bulunan göçmenler, gençler ve engellilerin eğitim
Ve istihdamı basta olmak üzere sosyal ve ekonomik koşullarına dair çalışmalar oluşturmaktadır. Bu alanda yazılmış makaleler, kitaplar, kitap editörlükleri bulunmaktadır. 2012 yılında araştırma görevlisi olarak girdiği çalışma ekonomisi bölümünde doçent olarak görevine devam etmektedir.

Dr. Murat Kirişci is a Professor in the Department of Biostatistics and Medical Informatics, Cerrahpaşa Medicine Faculty at Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa. He received a Ph.D. degree in Mathematics from Erciyes University.
His research has been focused on the Matrix domain, statistical convergence, fixed point theory, decision-making, fuzzy sets and systems, fuzzy logic, risk analysis, artificial intelligence, machine learning, intelligence systems, and optimization.
He has contributed research papers to reputed journals and has served as a reviewer for different scientific journals.
In a Stanford University and Elsevier study, he was included in the list of "The World's Most Influential Scientists" for three consecutive years.

Emil Knezović, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Management and the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Administration. He earned his Ph.D. in 2016 at the International University of Sarajevo. He has been Head of the Department of Economics and Management from 2018 to 2022 and Vice-Rector for Academic Activities and Students’ Affairs from 2022 to 2023. His research interests include human resource management, entrepreneurship, and innovation. He has published in several reputable journals, such as Employee Relations, the European Journal of Management and Business Economics, the Journal of Personality, Scientific Reports, Personality and Individual Differences, and the Journal of Family Business Management, and edited a book and several book chapters with Springer. He is currently engaged as a researcher at the e-Wanderlust Project, which is focused on digital nomads.

Akademik kariyerine 2002’de İstanbul Ticaret Üniversitesi’nde başladı; öğretim elemanı ve Değişim Programları Kurum Koordinatörü olarak görev yaptı.

Assoc. Prof. Taha Egri is currentlyis the Head of the Department of Economics at Kırklareli University, Turkey. He completed his BA at Bogazici University, Turkey, and obtained his MA and PhD degrees at Istanbul University, Turkey. He was a visiting scholar at George Mason University, USA, between 2014 and 2016. His primary research areas are institutional economics and international political economy. He is currently focusing on MENA countries' economic policies, military-economic relations and Islamic economics. He is the editor of two peer-reviewed journals: the Journal of Humanity and Society and the Turkish Journal of Islamic Economics.

Doç. Dr. Mustafa Tevfik KARTAL, 1984 yılında Kastamonu’da doğdu.
Sırasıyla Ümraniye Ticaret Meslek Lisesi, Marmara Üniversitesi Bankacılık, Marmara Üniversitesi İşletme İngilizce bölümlrini bitirdi. Sakarya Üniversitesi'nde İşletme (MBA) yüksek lisansı yaptı. Marmara Üniversitesi Bankacılık Bölümü’nde denetim komitelerinin yeterliliği üzerine tez çalışması ile doktor oldu. 2020 yılında Üniversitelerarası Kurul'dan bankacılık alanında doçentliğini aldı.
Ekonomi, finans, bankacılık, merkez bankacılığı, sermaye piyasaları, finansal kuruluşlar ve mevzuat alanlarındaki akademik çalışmalarına devam etmektedir.
Haziran 2007-Eylül 2009 tarihleri arasında ulusal bir market zincirinde Mağaza Sorumlusu olarak çalıştı.
Aralık 2009-Mart 2013 tarihleri arasında bir katılım bankasında İç Denetçi olarak çalıştı.
Mayıs 2013-Eylül 2016 tarihleri arasında bir ticari bir bankada Denetçi olarak çalıştı.
Ekim 2016-Ağustos 2017 tarihleri arasında bir ticari bir bankada Hizmet Seviyesi Uzmanı olarak çalıştı.
Eylül 2017 tarihinden itibaren bir sermaye piyasası kuruluşunda Yatırımcı İlişkileri, Stratejik Planlama ve İştirakler Uzmanı olarak çalışmaktadır.
CIA, CFSA, CCSA, CRMA, Sermaye Piyasası Faaliyetleri Düzey 3 ve Türev Araçlar sertifikalarına sahiptir.

1989 yılında Çankaya’da doğmuştur. Aslen Erzurumludur. İlk ve orta öğrenimi İstanbul Bahçelievler’de, lise eğitimini ise Ataköy Lisesi (Y.D.A)’nde tamamlamıştır. 2007 yılında Sakarya Üniversitesi İşletme Fakültesi İşletme Bölümü’nü kazanmış ve 2011 yılında mezun olmuştur. Akabinde kısa bir süre profesyonel çalışma hayatına devam etmiştir. 2013 yılında ise İstanbul Ticaret Üniversitesi İşletme Fakültesine araştırma görevlisi olarak atanmıştır. İstanbul Ticaret Üniversitesi’nde “Yerel Yönetimlerde Kurumsal Risk Yönetimi Uygulamalarının Analitik Hiyerarşi Süreci (AHP) Modeli ile İncelenmesi: İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyesi (İBB) Örneği” başlıklı doktora tezini 2019 Ocak ayında tamamlayarak bilim doktoru unvanını kazanmıştır. 2022 Ocak ayında ise Üniversitelerarası Kurul’dan doçentlik unvanını almıştır. Halen İstanbul Ticaret Üniversitesi’nde İşletme Fakültesi öğretim üyesi ve Finans Enstitüsü müdürlüğü görevine devam etmektedir. Kurumsal risk yönetimi, kurumsal yönetim, denetim, iç kontrol, sürdürülebilirlik raporlaması, entegre raporlama konularında çalışmalar yapmaktadır.

İsa Yılmaz holds a bachelor's degree in Economics and Management from Istanbul Bilgi University and participated in the University of London double degree program, receiving academic guidance from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). He pursued his master's degree in Islamic Finance at the University of Durham (UK) and completed his Ph.D. in Islamic Finance from the same institution. Currently, he serves as an associate professor in the Economics Department at Istanbul Medeniyet University. He has published several academic papers on economic development, financialization and aspects of political economy in Islamic economics. In a broader context, he explores alternative economic and financial systems that strive to envision authentic models with positive developmental and welfare outcomes for emerging economies. To explore these areas, he engages with the literature on the moral economy, political economy, philosophy of economics, and alternative banking and financial models.

Awarded the title of Associate Professor in the field of Management and Strategy in 2019, and promoted to Full Professor in 2025.
Since 2013, he has been serving as a faculty member at the Faculty of Business Administration, Istanbul Commerce University.
He primarily teaches courses in Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, and Research Methods across all academic levels.

Celal Sarıoğlu, lisans derecesini Karadeniz Teknik Üniversitesi Batı Dilleri ve Edebiyatları Bölümü, İngiliz Dili ve Edebiyatı Ana Bilim Dalı’nda tamamladı. Yüksek lisans eğitimini İstanbul Okan Üniversitesi Çeviribilim Ana Bilim Dalı’nda tamamladıktan sonra Sakarya Üniversitesi Çeviribilim Doktora programında doktora eğitimini bitirdi. Oxford Teachers’ Academy’den “Yetişkinlere İngiliz Dili Eğitimi” aldı, ve “Öğrenci Temelli Eğitimde Teknoloji Kullanımı” üzerine 6ncı Uluslararası Dil Eğitim Konferansı’nda katılımcı olarak yer aldı. İstanbul Aydın Üniversitesi’nde “Yazma Becerisi Öğretilmesi” üzerine sunum yaptı. Bahçeşehir Üniversitesi bünyesinde “Mesleki Gelişim Seminerleri”ne katıldı. İstanbul Medipol Üniversitesi’ne katılmadan önce Karadeniz Teknik Üniversitesi, İstanbul Aydın Üniversitesi, Beykent Üniversitesi ve Bahçeşehir Üniversitesi’nde görev almıştır. Bunların yanında çeşitli dil eğitim kuruluşlarında eğitmen ve idari görevli olarak çalışmış, sınav komisyonlarında hizmet etmiştir.
