About

The journal Höyük (ISSN: 1309-8780 | e-ISSN: 2822-3985) started to be published in 1988. The first issue included reports of the excavations supported by the Turkish Historical Society. After a 21-year break, the journal published 7 issues between 2010-2015 and then suspended its publication life for 6 more years. Considering the need for publication arising from the increase in the number and quality of archaeological excavations and research in Turkey, it was decided to publish the journal regularly as 2 issues a year starting from May 2022.
