Publication Ethics
The publication processes of the International Anatolia Academic Online Journal of Health Sciences Journal are based on the objective production, development and sharing of information by scientific method.
Refereed articles are studies that ensure the application of the scientific method and impartiality. All components of the publication process in the realization of scientific production; publishers, editors, authors, reviewers and readers must comply with ethical principles. In this context, the publication ethics of the International Anatolia Academic Online Journal of Health Sciences Journal and the open access policy also behave in line with the guidelines and policies published by the Publication Ethics Committee (Committee on Publication Ethics, COPE) (For example, “Publication Ethics Committee (COPE) Behavior). Guidelines and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors; “Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors” and “COPE Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors” require that all components of the publishing process comply with ethical principles.
If situations such as manipulating, distorting, and using fabricated data are identified in the articles, this situation will be reported to the institution where the author of the article is working in an official way and the article will be rejected. Our journal has the right to ask the authors about the results of the analysis, according to the feedback given by the editor and / or referees.
Publisher's Ethical Responsibilities
According to the subject of the article, the editor may send articles to the faculty members who are not members of the Editorial Board as a field editor when necessary.
Responsibilities of the Editorial Board of the International Anatolia Academic Online Journal Health Sciences Journal
• The Editorial Board is responsible for every article, even after its publication, to the International Anatolia Academic Online Journal of Health Sciences Journal, and the Editorial Board knows this responsibility. This responsibility is only by considering the public interest in the decisions made on issues related to the journal; it requires independent decision-making without thinking about personal gain. The relationship between the Publisher and the Editorial Board is based on the principle of independence, and all decisions taken by the editors are independent from the publisher and other individuals and organizations.

• The Editorial Board of the International Anatolia Academic Online Journal of Health Sciences Journal provides the determination and implementation of journal policies such as publication, blind review, evaluation process and ethical principles.
• The Editorial Board of the International Anatolia Academic Online Journal of Health Sciences, the Editorial Board, protects the copyright of article authors published in the International Anatolia Academic Online Journal of Health Sciences.

• Editors take care to ensure that the articles are original, contribute to scientific literature, readers, researchers, and practitioners when deciding to publish the articles.
• While making positive or negative decisions about the articles, the editors consider the original value of the articles, their contribution to the field, the validity and reliability of the research method, the clarity of the narration and the purpose and scope of the journal.
• Editors take the preliminary evaluation phase, take the positive referee suggestions into consideration, unless they have a serious problem, do not change the decisions made by the previous editor (s) unless there is a serious problem.
• The editors apply the blind review and evaluation process policies, which are among the publication policies of the journal, keep the identity information of the referees confidential, and ensure that each article is evaluated impartially and within due time.
• Editors take editorial consideration of editors and referees taking the articles into consideration
Ethical Responsibilities of Referees
During the article evaluation process of the International Anatolia Academic Online Journal of Health Sciences, the referees of the author (s), the two-way blind refereeing principle, in which the referees do not know the authors, apply directly to the authors; article evaluation forms and notes on the text and correction requests are sent to the author (s) by the editors through the journal management system. Referees who will evaluate the articles applied to the International Anatolia Academic Online Journal of Health Sciences Journal should bear the following ethical responsibilities:
• Referees should only agree to evaluate articles related to their area of expertise.
• The referees must make the assessment in neutrality and confidentiality. In accordance with this principle, they should destroy the articles they examine after the evaluation process, but use them only after they are published. Nationality, gender, religious belief, political belief and commercial concerns should not disrupt the neutrality of the assessment.
• When the referees understand that there is a conflict of interest-interest union, they should refuse to evaluate the article and inform the editors.
• Referees should make the assessment in a constructive language in accordance with academic etiquette; personal comments that contain insults and hostility should be avoided.
• The referees should evaluate the article that they accepted the evaluation within the deadline.
Authors' Ethical Responsibilities
Ethical responsibilities of the author (s) who applied for an article to the International Anatolia Academic Online Journal of Health Sciences Journal:
• The author (s) should not submit an article they have published elsewhere or sent for publication, and more than one article at the same time to the International Anatolia Academic Online Journal of Health Sciences.
• The author (s) should submit an original article to the International Anatolia Academic Online Journal Health Sciences Journal.
• The author (s) should make the correct reference (citation) to the resources they use while writing the article in accordance with ethical principles.
• The names of the people who did not contribute to the article should not be written as a writer, it should not be suggested to change the author order, remove a writer, or add an author for an article that is applied for publication.
• Must inform the editors who have a conflict of interest-interest union related to the article for which the application for publication is applied.
• In the evaluation process, if the author (s) are asked for information about their articles or raw data, they should present the expected information to the Editors.
• The author (s) must document that the rights to use the data they use in their articles have been obtained, the permissions related to research-analysis or the consent of the participants they have researched.
• The author (s) should contact the editor to provide information, correction or withdrawal when they notice the error regarding the article in the evaluation and early view phase or published electronically.
• The author (s) has obtained ethics committee approval for research that requires data collection through quantitative or qualitative methods such as experiments, surveys, scales, interviews, observations, focus group work that require an ethical committee decision; The ethical committee name, the date and number of the decision should be specified on the first-last page and method section of the candidate article, and upload the document showing the ethical committee decision to the system with the application of the article. In addition, the case should be illuminated in the case reports / information about the receipt of the consent form should be included in the article.
• The author (s) should present proof of their ethical principles in the data collection process (such as obtaining permission from others to use documents such as scale, questionnaire, photograph). It should be noted that the articles comply with copyright regulations for research and publication ethics and intellectual and artistic works. If the research was conducted on human and animal subjects, it should be reported that the research was carried out in accordance with international papers, guidelines, etc.
• Ethics committee approval is not required for review articles from the author (s). However, in articles that do not require an ethics committee decision, it should be stated that the ethics committee decision is not required, on the first-last page of the article and in the method section.
Reporting to the Editor the Situation That Does Not Follow Ethical Principles
In case of an unethical situation related to editorials, referees, authors in the International Anatolia Academic Online Journal of Health Sciences Journal, or an unethical situation related to an article in the evaluation process, in an early view or published article, must.
