Author Guidelines

Articles to be submitted to the Journal of Economic and Administrative Approaches (JEAA) must be prepared in accordance with the journal's spelling rules. The full text of the article should not exceed 10,000 words.

Articles submitted to the journal are subjected to a plagiarism program. The plagiarism/similarity rate should not exceed 20%. In addition, the plagiarism/similarity rate in a single source should not exceed 3%. If the plagiarism/similarity rate exceeds the specified rates, the article will be rejected. ''Turnitin'' and iThenticate'' programs are applied for plagiarism/similarity report.

Author Change: Only processed before the article is accepted. Authors should carefully review the list and order of authors before submitting their manuscript and provide the final author list at the time of original submission.

Citation Style: Manuscripts submitted to our journal should be written according to APA 7 (American Psychological Association) version.

The following files must be uploaded completely when uploading the manuscript:
1-) Article Cover Page: The JEAA Cover Page should include the Turkish and English abstract and author/authors information.

2-) Full Text: The article should be written according to the journal writing rules.

JEAA Sample Template should be used while preparing the full text.

Author/authors information should not be included in the full text file.

If the study is derived from studies such as theses, papers, conferences, etc., this information should also not be included in the full text file.

3-) Copyright Transfer Form: JEAA Copyright Transfer Form must be uploaded in pdf form with wet signature.

4-) Declaration of No Need for Ethics Committee Approval Form: If a study that requires an ethics committee decision has been conducted in the article, the ethics committee decision file must be uploaded. If there is no study that requires an ethics committee decision in the article, the JEAA Declaration of No Need for Ethics Committee Decision Permission Form must be uploaded as a pdf file with wet signature.

In addition, this statement should be indicated in the relevant section on the Full Text page. After the conclusion section. JEAA is included in the sample template.

5-) Declaration of Contribution of Researchers and Conflict of Interest Statement: If the study has more than one author, the JEAA Declaration of Contribution Ratio and Conflict of Interest Declaration file must be uploaded as a pdf file with wet signature.

In addition, this statement should be indicated in the relevant section on the Full Text page. After the conclusion. JEAA is included in the sample template.

ETHICS COMMITTEE APPROVAL
Our journal requires that the relevant ethics committee decision must be obtained for all studies in all disciplines that require ethics committee permission. In this context, information about the ethics committee approval (name of the committee, date and decision number) should be clearly stated in the text of the article. In case reports, the information that the informed consent form has been obtained should be included in the article.
In line with the regulations implemented by Ulakbim TR Index since 2020, studies that do not have ethics committee permission are not evaluated in our journal.

Studies Requiring Ethics Committee Approval
In our journal, researches that require ethics committee permission include the following studies:
• All research conducted with qualitative or quantitative approaches that involve collecting data from participants through methods such as surveys, interviews, focus groups, observations, experiments and interview techniques,
• Studies in which humans and animals (including materials or data) are used for experimental or other scientific purposes,
• Clinical trials conducted on humans,
• Scientific research on animals,
• Retrospective studies within the framework of the Personal Data Protection Law.
In order for such studies to be included in the evaluation, the relevant ethics committee permissions must be obtained and these permissions must be clearly stated in the text of the article.

Note: Scientific research on humans and animals must be conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki and ARRIVE guidelines and must be approved by the relevant ethics committee. Studies without ethics committee approval are not evaluated in our journal.

Detailed Spelling Rules:

Page Margins: 1 cm for top, bottom, right and left margins.
• Title: Turkish Main Title (article title) should be centered, bold, capitalized, Times New Roman, 12 pt, 6 pt before and after, single line spacing. English Main Title (article title) should be centered, italicized, Times New Roman, 12 pt, 6 pt before and after, single line spacing. The main title (introduction and other headings) should be capitalized, bold, left justified Times New Roman, 12 pt, 12 pt, 12 pt before and 6 pt after, single line spacing. The introduction and conclusion should not be numbered, while other headings should be 1., 2., 3. Subheadings should be capitalized, bold, left justified, Times New Roman, 12 pt, 6 pt before and after, and single-spaced. Subheadings should be 1.1., 1.2., 1.3. There should be no sub-headings in the introduction and conclusion. Second level subheadings should be capitalized, bold, italicized, left justified, Times New Roman, 12 pt, 6 pt before and after, single line spacing. second level subheadings should be 1.1.1., 1.1.2., 1.1.3.
• Footnote: Footnotes should be in Times New Roman, 8 pt. font, 6 pt. before and after, single line spacing and justified. Footnotes should be in the form of 1, 2, 3.
• Main Text (de): Font should be Times New Roman, 11 pt, 6 pt before and after, single-spaced and justified.
• Alignment: Line spacing 1 cm; margins 1 cm from right, left, top and bottom; page number should be given at the bottom of the page, justified to the right margin. The main page of the article should not be numbered; subsequent pages should be set to start with 2. TAB space (1 cm) should be given at the beginning of the paragraphs, except for the abstract; 6 nk space should be left before and after the paragraphs.
• Abstract and Keywords: Turkish and English Abstract should be in capital letters, bold, italicized, left justified, Times New Roman, 10 pt, 6 pt before and after, single line spacing. The text of the Turkish and English abstract should be justified, Times New Roman, 10 pt. font size, 6 pt. before and after, single line spacing. The abstract text should consist of at least 150 and at most 200 words. At least 3, maximum 5 keywords and at least 3, maximum 5 Gel codes should be added under the abstract. English versions of the abstract and keywords should also be included. For studies prepared in Turkish, the title and abstract should be in Turkish first, followed by the title and abstract in English.
• Figures, Tables, Maps, etc: Figures, tables, maps, etc. should not extend beyond the writing area. The text inside the table should be in Times New Roman, 8-10 pt. The initial letter of the first word should be capitalized and the others should be lowercase. Table title should be above the table, Times New Roman, 10 pt, left justified, 6 pt before, 0 pt after, single line spacing. The border and shading of the table should be 1 pt. If a bibliography is to be shown, it should be organized under the table in Times New Roman, 10 pt, first 0 pt and then 6 pt, single line spacing.
• Figures/graphics should be centered on the page (there may be exceptions). The title of the figure/graphic should be centered under the figure/graphic, Times New Roman, 10 pt, 0 pt before and 0 pt after, single line spacing. If the bibliography is to be shown, it should be arranged under the figure, centered, Times New Roman, 10 pt, 0 pt before and 0 pt after, single line spacing.
• Equations: Mathematical expressions and equations in the study should be prepared in Times New Roman, 10 pt, justified, single line spacing before and after 6 pt and without paragraph indentation. Each equation must be numbered (1, 2, 3, ...).
• Author Names: The name(s) of the author(s) of the article should be written under the title of the article, centered, bold, Times New Roman, 10 pt, single line spacing. Title, institution, e-mail and ORCID information of the authors should be written in footnotes. Information about the author(s) should not be included on the full text page. Only the cover page should include author/authors information. Author information will be added later by the layout editor to the article whose referee evaluation process is positive and accepted for publication.
• If the study is derived from a thesis or other studies: If the study is derived from a graduate thesis or a conference/scientific event, it should be indicated with a footnote to the title. However, this information should not be included in the full text page, only in the cover page.
 Explanatory notes: If necessary, they should be stated as footnotes (8 point font size) at the bottom of the page.
• Direct Citations: It should be done by using the conjunction method in the text.

Bibliography Notation:
• The references used in the study should be written on a new page, justified, Times New Roman, 11 font size, single line spacing, 6 pt before and after. The second and subsequent lines in the bibliography should be 1 cm inside. Each source cited in the text must be included in the bibliography. Likewise, each source in the bibliography must be cited in the text.
