Director
He graduated from Yıldız Technical University, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Geodesy and Photogrammetry (Mapping) Engineering Department with honors in 1999. Erenoğlu completed his master's degree at Yıldız Technical University in 2003 and his doctorate studies at Yıldız Technical University in 2009. He started his academic career as a Research Assistant at YTU Geodesy Department in 2001, and after completing his master's and doctoral studies, he continued as an Assistant Professor at the same university. In 2011, he was appointed as Assistant Professor at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Faculty of Engineering. He received the title of Associate Professor in 2017. In 2022, he became a Professor in the Department of Geodesy at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University.
Between 2012 and 2023, he served in many management positions such as Deputy Head of Department, Head of Department/Science Branch, Head of Department, Deputy Dean, Director of Application and Research Center, Member of the Senate, Director of Vocational School and Secretary General. He has been serving as Rector since 2023.
Professor R. Cüneyt Erenoğlu, who is a member of various national and international engineering associations, has 235 articles and papers. He took part in 41 research projects of various scales as manager and researcher.
R. Cüneyt Erenoğlu is married to faculty member Oya Erenoğlu. He has two sons, Mert, born in 2019, and Berk, born in 2021.
