Year 2023, Volume 3, Transforming Education with Metaverse, Augmented and Virtual Reality Technologies Special Issue
The aims of the special issue are:
1. To explore the potential of the metaverse, augmented and virtual reality technologies in transforming education and enhancing student learning outcomes.
2. To investigate the various pedagogical approaches and instructional design principles that can be used in the development and implementation of metaverse, augmented and virtual reality educational applications.
3. To showcase innovative educational practices and real-world examples of how metaverse, augmented and virtual reality technologies are being used to transform education.
4. To examine the challenges and opportunities of integrating metaverse, augmented and virtual reality technologies in education, including issues related to accessibility, equity, privacy, and ethics.
5. To provide insights and recommendations for policymakers, educators, and researchers on the effective use of metaverse, augmented and virtual reality technologies to enhance student learning outcomes and prepare them for the 21st-century workforce.
Overall, the special issue aims to foster a better understanding of the potential of the metaverse, augmented and virtual reality technologies in transforming education and to promote the development of innovative and effective educational applications in this area.
