Vahid Ghasemi, Ph.D., is an academic and researcher, currently holding the position of Assistant Professor at Universidade Europeia in Lisbon. He also serves as an Associate Editor for the International Journal of Management Studies (IJMS) and is an integrated research member at the Center for Advanced Studies in Management and Economics (CEFAGE) in Portugal. His academic journey culminated in the attainment of a European Ph.D. (Doctor Europaeus) in Economics and Business, a distinguished achievement awarded by the University of Cagliari in Italy. His research expertise lies primarily in the fields of Marketing Strategy and Consumer Behavior, with a specific focus on Destination Marketing and Management and Tourism. He has published papers in academic journals such as the Journal of Destination Marketing and Management, Tourism Analysis, Anatolia, Consumer Bahavior in Tourism and Hospitality. In recognition of his contributions to the field, he has received several awards. Notably, he was honored with the Valene Smith Prize for excellence in tourism research. Furthermore, his research was acknowledged through the presentation of the best paper at two international conferences. In 2018, he achieved the Emerald Literati Outstanding Author Award.
Dr Ferhat Şeker is an assistant professor at the Department of Tourism Management, Faculty of Business, Adana Alparslan Türkeş Science and Technology University in Türkiye. His research area includes smart tourism applications, robotics, artificial intelligence, machine learning algorithms, neural networks, and deep learning.
Volkan Genc is an associate professor at the School of Tourism and Hotel Management at Batman University. He graduated with a Ph.D. in Tourism Management from Eskisehir Anadolu University in Turkey. He has published some articles in prestigious journals such as International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management. He continues to work on emotional and social competence, emotional labor, aesthetic labor, and the role of employee’s emotions in resistance to change. He
has also served as a reviewer in international tourism and hospitality journals.
